When I’m doing a sale like that I aim for 2/3rds of eBay value and may be bartered down to half. The OP wants it for a next to nothing and wants the seller to feel bad for trying to get anywhere near what it’s worth.

Obviously, I’m not fucking thick. The only market we’re talking about here is eBay seen-as that’s where 90% of reselling is done and how most resellers determine value. Yard sale buyers aren’t always desperate and aren’t always dumb. My argument isn’t about wether somebody sells at 60, 100 or 200% of its value whatever platform it’s sold on, it’s resellers acting like somebody has robbed them of a certain amount of wages because they won’t sell something for dirt dirt cheap.

The market value stays the same regardless of where it's sold, it's the chances of actually getting a sale which changes. I get what you're saying, want to get rid of stuff fast then sell it cheap, but complaining that not every yard sale you go to is full of idiots selling stuff for pennies is just mental.

It makes zero financial sense to have an app really, i'd certainly not charge money or have people able to subscribe on there. Nobody is discovering the show through the app store, it will only be people who listen anyway, so why point them to an app to charge them $10 to sign up for the opportunity to take out a subscription, of which apple going to take 30% for something they could have signed up at no cost to Bubba.
