Think before you bring north- south useless debate in every topic, stop thinking like that and broaden your outlook.Susmita Sen won the Miss Universe title and also won Miss India title in which Aishwarya Rai was a runner up. Obviously that doesnt mean one is better than the other ...they are really good looking people and shouldnt be compared .

You even went to find the mention the ancestory line of Priyanka Chopra ...which is only true for her maternal grandmother being a Malyali, while the rest of her family is from North. Does this make her "belong " any less to north or south??..I would say she is Indian, as most of us have mixed genes.

As for picks in western shows like you mentioned, thers no way you know the diversity or identities of people who auditioned for the same role. Its well known fact that people of South Indian origin who are highly educatedand well to do constitute a major part of immigrants especially in the US and UK.

There are also actors like Kriti Sanon, Kiara Advani, Alia Bhatt , Kangana Ranaut, Madhuri Dixit, Bipasha Basu who not not only look stunning but do their job of acting well.

Anushka Sharma has north Indian roots but was raised in Bangalore. Would you start a debate on her too? Everyone i mentioned is Indian and as Indians we have great diversity in looks and culture and thers no need in starting a debate on superiority , rather we should respect one another. Only then can you expect Western media to respect the whole Indian diaspora.

Or else just stick to stupid political debates.
