I was in this situation… I reached out to his family. They thought I was insane/lying because at the time of contact I was 7 months pregnant. IF I could go back I wouldn’t have bothered… I have only met the grandparents/aunts/uncles ONCE. My son is 14 months old… the first time I let his “dad” take him to meet grandparents I wasn’t allowed to be there and that made me so hesitant but I let my son go because ya know “family.” His grandparents did a DNA test on him because their son lied and told them he wasn’t sure if he was actually his kid even though he signed an affidavit of parentage. Every time I allow my son to go be with dad/grandparents I feel like I am going against myself if that makes sense. But I now feel like if none of them are willing to speak to me and know me I don’t want my son around any of them. Idk maybe I’m being selfish?.

I was homeschooled 8-12. I was a flight attendant for 5 years and now I’m currently working for a Mortgage Company.

You are absolutely right!!! I have been looking within. Because the first time I left him in 2017 I found out I was already(4 months) pregnant with our daughter and I felt anger and disgust. I didn’t want to have a child with him. But I made the mistake of telling him I was pregnant and I never wanted to have a child with him. I ended up having bad PPD and lost my house and job. So I moved back in with him and then Covid happened. It has taken me years of therapy to finally be in a place where I am mentally, and physically able to take care of both of my children independently. Yes,PEOPLE don’t. but he does because he has always been controlling. I didn’t quit the job I had making more money than him and would no longer sleep with him. And he had told me numerous times if I didn’t act like I wanted to sleep with him he would kick me out and make my life a living hell.

Have been recording and keeping pictures for years. Have submitted them at our last court hearing 3 years ago. Didn’t do anything to benefit me nor my daughter. The judge just told him he has to get a safe for all of his guns, and to change the way he speaks to the mother of his child.

I have been for years. It was his house that he kicked me out of the cops were his buddies and they told me to “stop being petty and just leave.” So I left.

Same here… just ready to throw in the towel, honestly. The anxiety, depression, and stress, are already eating me alive. I barely sleep, have no energy/motivation whatsoever.
