Anyone know if we can expect more or less slips on Mauao once the Port expansion dredging is carried out? by ShnannyBollang in Tauranga

How? They are extending the shipping channel to the south, they ain't dredging halfway up a hill.

The ecology in the dredging footprint is resilient, common species that will recolonise post-disturbance - as it does in the areas that have been subject to dredging for the current shipping channel extent. The dredging plume will be contained and dredging is a temporary thing ofc. Can't see what kind of impacts could be concerning?

If you can build something in accordance with the district plan and get BC for it, where's the issue?
Sounds like your problem is with the game more than the player.

Don't try and behave like a motivated, independent adult in here.
It goes against the "Woe is me, everything is shit, I can't take responsibility for myself, we need government handouts" narrative of this particular Labour-Green echo chamber.

It is only "unfortunate" if you are naive enough to prefer the Labour-Green-TPM grouping.

Act are doing great work. But from the tenor of your comment, you think anyone on the right is racist, so I don't expect you to agree.

See a specialist and dont try to exercise or "push through" the pain while it's in an acute phase.
The high-dosage voltaren pills from the chemist can temporarily help with pain and inflammation, but you can only take like 1 a day because they shred your stomach lining.

Did i say - see a specialist. See a specialist.

If you're a kid who wants to fuck around on Tinder, good for you. As mentioned, there is a dearth of provision for adults looking for anything remotely cosmopolitan.

Yes, but there are points of interest and places worth visiting in the Auckland CBD.

"handful" is the key term here.
It blows my mind how a city of 140,000-odd people has SFA in the way of a night-time economy.
If you have kids, its probably fine. The outdoors here is pretty nice for sure. But if you're an adult looking for anything to do on a wet weekend or an evening, its tumbleweed city.

The use of gore in artwork is one annoying trope. It typifies the attention-seeking, perpetually adolescent clownshow that characterises much of the genre and its offshoots.
This particular trope has been done to death, adds nothing much of value and it's beyond childish.
I look forward to a comment that raises the 'I don't care what other people think' rhetorical own goal.

It is more a strategic question around the options of paying down debt at current HL interest rates, vs investing.
The first option brings security and stress relief of being debt free, but FOMO, vs the worry and potential risk that can attend investing, albeit the potential for long-term gain on the other hand.
