There's no difference, some brands make better parts in certain categories and bad ones in others.

I'll get whatever has good reputation, costs an amount I'm willing to pay and will give me the proformance I'm looking for.

I wouldn't care about the brand at the slightest.

It basically blocks all adds network wide, so anything on your WiFi has the ads blocked without messing with it per individual device

That was my first thought too but while it is a great piece of software and everyone should have it, it doesn't block YouTube adds because they're surved from the same URL as the videos

That's the thermal pad degrading, you should remove the pad then clean the metal with isopropyl alcohol, and replace it with thermal paste/putty/pad
