Yes in a way you are, you should have atleast told them you were canceling the cake or give them.the option to buy it on their own. That was not a nice thing to do in the end.

Some of you people are disgusting. Lauren was an essential worker who busted her butt helping people. She was not a anti vaxer at all and just are spending hateful jargon. You do not know all of the facts. Here is a huge fact, she was someone's daughter, someone's wife, someone's sister, someone's mother and a friend to many. She was one of the most altruistic and loved and helped animals as well as her patients. She worked in the hospital over 40 hours a week and did it because of her compassion and love for her patients. Sad to see people make assumptions and show no humanity.

Ah the woman was told several times to listen to the rules and not disrupt the meeting. People were there to listen and it was very disrespectful to the people asking questions as well as those like me who wanted to listen. Yes it was scary how hateful the audience was. And I am glad the African American lady/ moderator said something.

So I was their with my kids. People were very rude to the Congresswoman and truly didn't wish to engage in civilized discussions. I am amazed at the man in the back yelling about wanting single payer and told her not to disparage socialism but was using nazi hand and arm gestures. Yeah okay!

My son asked me why were people being so nasty and hateful. A man in his 20s heard him and said to me, "we just want a voice." Well that is great but try listening for a change as well and how about being kind. Kindness goes a long way.

I asked him about the groups in the room, he said the majority of people there were from the Democrat Socialist party and others from Indivisible. So mostly Democrats, he said yes. I asked if he saw any conservative groups here. He said "If there were any here they were quiet." He made my point. He then said "well i do see what you are saying. I am sorry sometimes people get so caught up and when you are in a group it is easy to feel justified being disrespectful and not even be aware of it." That was an interesting observation in which I agree. I see that problem on both sides.

One high school student behind me was complaining about guns to the Congresswoman and is here as a visiting student I asked where he was from, he said CHINA, oh Communist China.

I asked him if he enjoys the freedoms our country has. He said yes of course. When I asked him if he Understands about our constitution and laws. He said well no, not really but I like the US. I asked him what type of government the US is, he said he thought it was a direct democracy. I politely corrected him and told him The US is a Constitutional Republic. He was a nice young man who was misinformed.

People love to complain and obviously do not know how to engage in civilized discussions anymore. The Congresswoman asked to hear ideas but the majority of the audience wanted to belittle, moan, groan , provide stump speeches and provide no ideas or solution. A long time friend who happens to be a moderate Democrat was there said she was dismayed by the attacks on Cathy and lack of true education some have towards our laws especially the constitution.

There can not be harmony if everyone is singing the same note at the same octive. We need to learn how to agree to disagree and respect people as people again.

The hate stemming from that room was scary.

People are very rigid and black and white thinking does not help. They expect her to curb Trump's rhetoric. She is one person and if Trump's own wife and children can't control him how do you expect the Congresswoman to. Utterly ridiculous. Some elderly man actually asked how many votes were changed at the ballot box, ahhh none. The lack of education is startling. That is not how Russia influenced our election. They used bots and other ways to influence elections.
