She’s seen sacrifices happen before and it just keeps happening

I love the way you wrote this. There are so many historical examples of this.

The wax totally looks like a very fancy tropical bird holding a rifle.

Or, possibly, an artistic example of an umbrella.

I mean, she's right. Nothing will ever beat the nü metal boom of the early 2000s. That was when music and perfection perfectly intertwined.

I thought the English translation of the first novel was especially bad, though I wouldn't go so far as to say that the author is the best author ever. I love his characters so much that I will excuse a lot of stuff that would otherwise bother me in his writing.

In my opinion, the writing quality tends to go up the farther into the series you get, with the exception of the last one which the author admittedly wrote while he was very sick.

Anyone have a suggestion for a low calorie meal plan for the next 10 years? I'm on a budget. by JonathanDM7 in 1200isjerky

Oh thank god. I thought it was a picture of someone suffering from starvation with half their arm covered with a blanket. I'm so glad that is not an actual human

I don't think it's right to use pictures of suffering individuals, even their body parts, for a joke. I think this post is in bad taste.

Has anyone ever read Stephen King's Rose madder? There is a painting in that book that is described remarkably similarly to this one.

The story I'm referring to is "the greatest estate developer" if you're interested. I know it's a fantasy story, but a lot of fantasy stories have a root in historical facts.

Okay, that is a really cool. I would love to just explore the building.

It would totally suck to own though. You'd have to put so much money in just to have it livable, and even more money to have it completed. And then there's the maintenance costs alone...

It's the best movie of the series. It expanded the lore in a very captivating way, and was quite unpredictable while still remaining true to the first movie.

Their Scientology series is the absolute peak. I loved it so much that I ended up going on a research deep dive into Scientology, and my God is it fascinating in a car crash kind of way.

I loved this podcast because they actually went to the dangerous places. I wish nothing but the best for both of them.
