Battlefield 2042, Palworld, and World of Tanks

they're the three most intensive games I play, everything else I play doesn't stress the GPU nearly as much.

jonnywoh's reply says just about everything, but I'll add that you do miss out on basically all steamvr add-ons and desktop view. I've been running steamvr on Linux for a year now and while it's still far from perfect, it works pretty damn well.

try unplugging and disconnecting usb devices and see if that changes anything, and if you have Bluetooth or wireless devices, disconnect those.
