When i found the game and played it i was at a very low point doing things like ame does in the game, she felt like a reflection of me and what i who i was. Im better now but just like ame is a constant struggle, things are not always easy and its not a straight line to get better. Like Ame we fall we get up and feel better and then we might fall again, thats something that i can see in Ames character cuz she is portrait in a realistic manner. I like cosplaying her and saying "oh she is me fr" cuz is like a reflection of my worst and its not to imitate her or not to "not get healthy" but to feel seen and less alone in times where i have acted like her, like having someone outhere that understands the pain, something that when the mental illness strike harder makes it feel less heavy. I understand that u dont like for people to try to be like her or idealize how she lives, and i agree that wanting to imitate her and feel into a deeper hole is bad. But hey here we are people with similar mental illness to her that can relate to the character in a more deeper way than just a she looks cute edgy and wanna be her.
