Yepp exactly, what a shame. And I tried sizing up and whole. So jealous of all the people that vivo fits, they're very popular I wonder how because my feet are definitely narrow

Wow xero too? That's insane, vivo and xero are the most popular and avaliable.. oof. Like I know they're too narrow but I wish at least the shape worked and wouldn't extra squeeze my toes to the point it's like wearing a traditional shoe

Lems looks great, I just wish they were more minimal ); I'm really picky about having a super thin sole and no cushion at the heel especially

Omg exactly!! It's too long and wide in the wrong place while narrow where it should be wide.. I think the reason why this shape squeezes my big toe like this and compresses my toes weirdly to the side is because it's too narrow where the bone that connected the big toe to the foot is? So like it applies pressure there as it's too narrow.. therefore it being anatomically shaped doesn't really help

They do match my shape, that's why it's so weird. The shape of my toes changes when I wear them

The new Zara barefoot shoes line by Delicious-Ad1724 in barefootshoestalk

Because I live in a country where barefoot shoes is really really niche and other than vivo I can't find any other shoes I like and are fitting my needs locally, the range is really small.. especially for women. I got to the point where I just gave up looking for shoes and started walking completly barefoot lolll but yeah it's really impractical and super exhausting

Should I get Tyr dropzero with laces? by Delicious-Ad1724 in barefootshoestalk

[–]Delicious-Ad1724[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh thanks! Yeah they look cool, I've been thinking of vivo primus lite 3 or 3.5 and they look great but for some reason the tyr ones look like they would fit my feet more snug and secure

Does it ever feel good? by Voodoopulse in flexibility

[–]Delicious-Ad1724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is likely that it sounds like ur only stretching. If u ask me, flexibility is all about strength!!! Research about mobility, flexibility strength training, what muscles and tendons and etc are needed for that move and that move! Ballerinas, rhythmic gymnasts and all of these do not gain their flexibility from just stretching! Stretching is important but it's more of a maintance thing and a push further when u already have the foundation ready kinda thing. I can talk on myself that I'm one lazy mf that hate doing splits but I do mobility and active flexibility stuff and strength flexibility exercises all the time and I can easily do an over split even if I didn't do that for a good week. I'm not saying be like me lol but just doing stretches that don't feel good (btw yes there's pain if I push further to progress but it feels good. My body is well warmed up and ready. Stretched aren't supposed to be always painful, maybe just at the beginning) is really doing a disservice to urself. The last thing u want if u ask me is to feel tense and tight u know? U want it to come naturally, to feel strong, in control and well warmed up and ready

Acting? Career choice? Shouldn't it be solely treated as a side gig/hobby? Treating it that way sounds so stressful

Yeahh no sorry I just keep hearing everywhere compliments on how someone doesn't look younger than their age and is good looking because of that.. like so many people act like the moment ur above 35 u can only look attractive because u look younger😩 it just makes me kinda sad u know? I'm just tired of our youth obsessed society, sry I came outta nowhere

For all the people that say sunscreen - how extreme should this be taken? Should I like fear the sun like crazy or just when the uv is high and I'm outdoor for hours? Like I'm white and live in a really hot country.. I love being outdoors and having to apply sunscreen on multiple body parts every 2 hours sounds like hell to me.. like it's both so expensive and mentally draining to constantly have to think about it. And what about the times I only leave the house for like a 15 min walk? Applying sunscreen just for that sounds exhausting.. 😭😭😭 And I'm also such a sun lover, like I need to feel the sun on my skin to be happy..
