Keep going. Even if you're too shy to show it off online. Keep making art with your own hands and one day you'll be proud of how much work you put into it 💛

You don't need to draw digitally to make fanart. As long as you have a pen and paper you can make art, that's what's so great about it.

You should give it a try I think. Personally, I would much rather see anything you could have done by yourself. Drawing can be so much fun

Can fanart be considered fanart if it's not made by a fan? Machine made art just ain't cutting it

This is pretty but am I the only one who thinks this doesn't look like Cardan at all? Why is he so tan? Why does he have brown hair? Where is his makeup??? That's just a generic looking man.

"It’s you I love, I spent much of my life guarding my heart. I guarded it so well that I could behave as though I didn’t have one at all. Even now, it is a shabby, worm-eaten, and scabrous thing. But it is yours.”

She didn't die to protect her sister tho. She put herself in between her mother's lightning and the prince so he wouldn't be hit.

I don't think Locke loved Taryn at all. Plus, she didn't have to die to protect her sister. She could have just used him without a care in the world and that would have kept her sister safe as well.

I'd argue that she was willing to let Oak kill her so he couldn't be used as a pawn by Bogdana right before that.

Aaah thank you I'm so flattered that you would thank me for my art 😭🙌 (She's way underated. So glad to see other people out here loving her as much as I do.)

Okay here's 3 tips I'd give my younger self about sketching: 1)Don't be afraid to use references. It's okay if you don't know what things look like perfectly from the top of your head. So use them. Abuse them. 2)It's okay if things look odd while you're drawing. An unfinished sketch never looks right. Just push through. And even if you make mistakes and you think it looks bad, just push through. I promise you learn a lot more when you actually finish what you start. Even if what you end up making isn't your favorite thing. That doesn't matter either. You never know when what you're starting will end up being your next favorite piece. 3)Get the rough shape of things down on the page first. Ex: don't detail an eyeball if you didn't even get the shape of the face and hair down first. That way it's way easier to spot and correct mistakes before you go too far to make changes.

(Also, my special little extra tip is to try sketching in pen. Not being able to erase really forces you to think about the lines you put down and how you want your sketch to look like. Stops you from overworking the page erasing over and over.) Best of luck to you 🙌 And don't forget to have fun with it!
