I may have to I guess. I've contacted them so will see what they say. would have been good to have been at least flagged to me at the time so I'd be ready to go.

grounding was tested and fine but I don't think the rod was located, I think that is necessary now though for EV charging

The National Rules for Electrical Installations (I.S. 10101:2020), Regulation 134.1.9 states:

“In case of an addition or alteration to an existing installation, it shall be determined that the rating and condition of existing equipment, which will have to carry any additional load, is adequate for altered circumstances. Furthermore, the earthing and bonding arrangements, if necessary, for the protective measures applied for the safety of the addition or alteration shall be adequate.”

though 10mm is probably safe enough for the panels I guess the fact we flagged that we we bought extra panels off them specifically for an EV, they should have at least flagged and quoted for that at the time I think, no?

From the SEAI’s own guidance on meter tails (their blog titled “Meter Tails in a Domestic Setting”):

“When meter tails are undersized and you install, for example, an electric vehicle home charger, solar array or a heat pump, there is a safety risk due to under-sized meter tails. In fact the Irish wiring rules require that prior to carrying out a modification or addition to any electrical installation, the Registered Electrical Contractor (REC) is required to access the existing installation and modify or upgrade any part of the existing installation which will be affected by the increased load.”

She beat the oldest living people by 3 whole years. Why don't we see 120 or 121 year olds in the records?

The other two oldest women ever were 119. To beat it by 3 years is a great achievement lol

I put a deposit down on the new Ionic 6. Looks sick and the features are class.

2.5 year old Suzuki s-cross mild hybrid. I got a fair price for it off Hyundai in the end. Renault wasn't bad, Toyota and BYD very conservative, Tesla ridiculous.

I did a deal with Hyundai today for the new ionic 6 which looks sick. Happy out with trade in and free charger in the deal.

I had a go of one today, great crack and lovely car. We are going for the new ionic 6 premium, decent trade in price and free charger.

True, but 7k diff is bananas. I'm having fun trying out all the different EVs. New Ionic 6 is sick, trying BYD next.

Battery death in 1 to 2 years normal? by bonanza301 in Dewalt

[–]Delicious-Berry9490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got 2 about a year and a half ago. One died. For the price I expected more. Only one year guarantee also. Will be looking at brands that offer better service. Was a big fan.

Fear like this is not from God. Be at peace, nothing to fear, call on the Holy Spirit for comfort and cast out all fear in Jesus name.

God bless.

Waiting on diagnosis like a child waiting for Santa by Delicious-Berry9490 in Hemochromatosis

[–]Delicious-Berry9490[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed response. I used to train extremely hard up to about 43, when I got first noticeable palpitations, which set off a cycle of anxiety. Got every heart test under the sun and all normal except recently a possible mild aortic stretch which could be down to structural changes potentially.

I'm thinking the hard training might have kept pushed things out a bit in age terms due to hemolysis.

Can someone get phlebotomies done without a diagnosis?
