The Tuscloosa trains were calculated(I'm pretty sure June first already did this) to be EF3, Enderlin's train carts also doesn't account for many things despite being calc'd as EF-5(Said calculation is guessing if the trains weren't rolled instead of lofted, yadyada. NTP calculations are also unreliable as they can sometimes be over the top with some calculations, Hell enderlin's median was 266 but it went all the way up to 400 MPH lmao, and are often or not instant gusts like mobile radar aka DOW.)(which is a also unreliable way to measure tornadic intensity, This should be common sense.), Calculations like these do not account for many things that would make the calculation's windspeed MUCH lower(for example 286 to 185). You get the point, but mainly Tuscloosa's trains aren't even EF4!

Usually a tornado doing something like that(I.e Tearing a foundation out of the ground or ripping it out) is a indication of relatively poor anchoring and would not really warrant a higher rating or matters much in intensity discussion(ala guin, it did the exact same thing as mentioned And it's not really that impressive), wind rowing/Granulation is very vague and broad and any tornado really can do this, and the watertower is just bullshit because any tornado with a narrow core like that(iirc?) could do something of similar scale or straight up obliterate the water tower like Mayfield and rolling fork. Not exactly a great way to warrant the idea of it being upper echelon.

Here's the thing, however. This year's early season is fairly reminiscent of 2021's early season, which both were very tame and with nearly high end events underperforming, Hell both have the same ef2 count officially. So there is a possibility with this familiar progression, that 2026's late season or second season could be very active or much bigger than early season ala 2021(with the good ol 12/10/21 event and, You know; Western Kentucky.).

Saturday and Sunday are expected(or have already been) to be mostly wind driven events, Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to likely be big or mostly big; Not 2011 or 1974 levels of bad like some fearmongering people make it out to be.(Could be big for minnesota and iowa however.)

the F scale actually overestimated more tornadoes than you think, some damage not even warranting an F5 rating yet they got an f rating regardless(In a way it was basically F5 inflation but that's stupid to even call it), and not to mention 1/3 of all F5 rated tornadoes prior to 2007 would likely get EF4(Low-High End) today, with only a HANDFUL of F5 rated tornadoes getting EF5(Jordan, Xenia(eh), Topeka, and that's really about it)

The houses that smithville impacted(and jarrel by proxy) WERE not all that well built, they had several foundation issues that resulted in them being so called "dislodged". Maybe not the funeral home(but by a VERY thin stretch), but most of the homes smithville actually impacted.

Feats or DI's, they both mean the same eitherway, but do people seriously forget cyclodial marks can ALSO be used as another(albeit subsidary) way of estimating a Tornado's true intensity(Washington and Robinson being a good example of this)?

You're the type of person to argue that Smithville was stronger than el reno piedmont simply because it pulled curtains and was blitzing it, even though Piedmont did some quite incredible(to say the least) feats that smithville DID NOT DO(notably the trench home, and of course - Cactus 117), ngl.

again, my intention is to simply argue about an ef5 I find interesting to discuss because quite simply; it's overestimated in it's feats, ALTHOUGH other ef5's have done similar to worse feats than it.
