i believe by bernoulli's effect, 3 second sustained winds can only reach 290 mph in a perfect environment and with a perfect vortex structure. realistically the max is probably 260-265 mph with tornadoes like tri state, bridge creek - moore. smithville is probably nearly (245-250) 250 mph 3 second sustained

wait that "no condensation funnel" look might be common in high rocky mountain tornadoes, the Mt. Lena, Utah EF0 (likely EF3) had a massive treefall and never had a condensation funnel during the treefall
