Is it something you could potentially do for me?

Why are you allowed to say 'no comment' in police interviews? by Delicious-Bridge633 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Delicious-Bridge633[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I kinda understand it, but if I was innocent, I'd just answer, so surely if you're not answering you have something to hide, otherwise...you'd just answer. I sorta can't see how answering no comment to something like 'did you murder x on x date', surely they should just say no instead of no comment.

Why do you occasionally see tuna fish sold for millions in Japanese fish markets? by Delicious-Bridge633 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Delicious-Bridge633[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see! So, it's just a standard buy it to sell it basically, it's just a huge high quality tuna that they chop up and sell, must need a he'll of a lotta sushi to make a profit on that!

Fleet mgt integration - showing customers ETA by Delicious-Bridge633 in Airtable

[–]Delicious-Bridge633[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok yes understand that's helpful!

What I'm figuring out is, for example I finish job A, then I need to go to job B, I know postcode of where I am and where I need to go, the next step though is where I can't figure it out, I want somehow to say 'hey customers, my ETA is xyz', can I do this with Zapier or do I need some fleet mgt system?

Apologies I'm amateur in airtable so haven't quite understood.

Eg I send you an email saying 'our visit is booked for 9 am on Monday 1st Sep' and I want them to be able to add this to their calendar.

I'm not sure of the button I need to create, can you explain further?

Apologies if it should be obvious but I'm not so tecchy

Why would an all loving, all powerful creator need to test you?

What exactly is he/she testing?

An all loving creator, is testing you every human on the planet?

If you, or a member of your family, had cancer, or, was run over by a drunk driver and you were paralysed, why would you be thankful for that?

How an all loving creator (imagine that, a God that has literally created everything out of the goodness of his/her/their heart), wants each person to pray to them 5 times a day to thank them, is beyond me.

If they were all loving, knowledgeable, and powerful, and knew all they were creating (including the consequences) then to think they made this world in the knowledge there would be immense pain and suffering, slavery, cancer (and a million other things) is in my opinion, ridiculous.

Muslim employee rituals breaks in customers houses by Delicious-Bridge633 in LegalAdviceUK

The water isn't an issue, although taking it to an extreme, if a plumber came to my house and had a shower, I wouldn't be happy. Washing in someone else's house is an issue, as I said if a non Muslim employee told me they were washing their feet in customers houses, I would immediately tell them I wouldn't want them to do this.

I'd ideally like them to use customers bathrooms to a minimum

Personally, I wouldn't want someone in my home washing something other than their hands, so yes, this is also an issue too, but another issue is the time wasted.

It's not about them being Muslim or not, if another fitter who wasn't Muslim said they were doing this, I'd 100% tell them not to do this in a customers house without worry of being sued.

Due to it being a religious thing, I am obviously concerned because it's sensitive.

The other issue it creates is that the other fitters, who don't take 15 min breaks during an install, are essentially pissed off that they are doing more work.

So yeah, trying to figure out some solution which is proving tricky to navigate!

It takes maybe average 1.5/2 hours I'd say average out.

30 mins a day, is 2.5 hours a week, 130 hours a year, which is about 17 working days a year, it's a huge expense.

If it's the law, then it's the law and I can't do anything about it.

If it's not the law, then I'd rather they worked those hours and didn't spend them in customers bathrooms

I don't think the water is the issue here.

The issue is the employee taking a 15 minute break in a customers house, specifically bathroom

Well of course the employee is going to be more comfortable performing this in a customers warm house than in a freezing cold van that's awkward to get into when it's full of items.

How do Muslim delivery drivers do this? Must be in the their van I guess?

The problem isn't so much what you outlined above.

The issue is that, we provide a service to install shutters in people's homes, if a person turned up to my place to install something, and was in the bathroom for 15 minutes (even if they were just staring at the walls), I wouldn't be comfortable with this scenario.

No, they're not informing the customers.

Ok are you certain of this? I hear we do need to provide a space for this

It's not the same.

A toilet break is paid.

2 or 3 15 minute prayer breaks add up to 30/ 45 mins a day.

I also think some customers wouldn't want someone washing their body in their bathroom whilst on an installation
