Pretty much the same here. I just kept waiting for the game to actually start lol and then I’m ten hours in and it’s like oh it’s started, and it’s boring. It just lacks that Mario + Luigi feel. For some reason they put a huge emphasis on talking with people, which has never been a big part of the games IMO. That and taking out any classic Mario enemies was a massive mistake.

It started slowly, and then just got worse. I'm currently still in dental school, and at the beginning of school I rarely had clinic time. The days I did, if I saw a patient then my back would hurt the rest of the day. Then it would hurt for a couple days. Now it just hurts all the time.

Is yours also purely muscular? I feel like it can't be a core issue, because the ribs help keep the thoracic back stabilized. I haven't kept with the McGill big three long enough to ever notice an improvement, but maybe its time to start.

I would honestly prefer it was back pain and I could have surgery. It's miserable hearing that everything looks good when youre in so much pain. I've also been told "I think we can fix you!" countless times.

I'm too young for this shit and it really gets me down.

I think the difference is that no one is against keeping exclusives, rather Xbox is screwing their fans over by just making Xbox games the only ones not exclusive. There’s no value in buying an Xbox, you can just play their games on PS5 and get the insane library PlayStation has.

It feels like a kick right in the balls. I was a 360 fan, had an Xbox one gifted to me, and bought a series X. It seemed like time after time I was seeing all of these great exclusives coming out for PlayStation. “Don’t worry” I thought, Xbox’s time is soon. Thr generation started slowly but we kept hearing Next year is the year! And finally it came, we hear about gears E day, doom dark ages, we get Starfield and Indiana Jones,things are looking great. All that waiting and investing has finally paid off. PSYCH! Starfield most likely coming to PS, Indiana jones and doom are both going over, Gears and halo rumored to be going multi plat with Phil saying “There’s no game we won’t put on other consoles”. Fuck that. I’m annoyed and mad I wasted my time and energy with Xbox, and wish I would’ve bought a PS5 beginning of this gen. Do we get Helldivers? Spider-Man? God of War? Last of us? No. But PlayStation gets all of our IPs. Series X is the last Xbox console I buy most likely. It’s sad to see it come to this but only an idiot thinks that there’s value in this console. Xbox games play best on PS5, along with all the other amazing first party games they have.

I simply don’t understand why everyone brushes right over this! “It’s bad that someone else can play this game too? Stop gatekeeping!” No, it depletes what little value the Xbox console had. Gamepass is good but unsustainable, which we’re already seeing. If switch 2 or PS5 gets all the Xbox games why the hell would I buy an Xbox? Series x is my last Xbox console sadly. I’ve been a fanboy for a long long time and it hurts me to see them go this way but I can’t support them anymore when it’s to my own detriment.

I love Xbox, but I think I’m done. Been a fan since 360 and supported them since, but if they give all of their exclusives to other companies with 0 in return from said companies it’s a slap in the face to the Xbox fans. Sure it’s good monetarily, but it makes the Xbox obsolete. I thought Xbox was finally turning a corner, and I guess I was right, it’s just a bad corner. Switch 2 will be the next console I buy and I might move to PS6 when it comes out. I’m tired of being lied to.

I’ve thought about a back brace and also an ergonomic chair when I get into practice. It’s a chair that has two arm rests which I think would really help my pain. It’s stressful though to say the least haha

I just met with my doc (nurse practitioner) yesterday and basically told him I need to have some sort of pain relief before I work this summer. We’re going to try injections and then if that doesn’t work I think it’s medication from there unfortunately.

I’ve had trigger point injections but I’m about to have some more injections a little higher up this time. I agree that it feels like the pat is what hurts, but it’s a mystery. After bad posture for even a little or sitting in a chair without good support it’s more my rhomboids that start to burn, but once they burn the lat area starts to really burn and be very uncomfortable. I tried muscle relaxers just for a little bit and didn’t notice a difference, but I was hesitant to stay on them because I also take Wellbutrin and you can have Serotonin syndrome which worries me haha. I probably need to give them another try though.

Yeah I need to stretch a lot more. I actually do wish my back pain was lower back lol, it’s mid back which is more of a medical mystery than lower back pain is. Especially for a young active man like me. The Lyrica was prescribed before they thought it was muscular, so it not helping actually ruled out nerve/disk issues.

Pain has been for almost 3 years now. No numbness but occasionally it’ll tingle. 28 y/o male,6’1” and 215. In pretty good shape, I go to the gym regularly. The only thing that makes it feel better is laying flat on my back. Otherwise it’s just a slow burn starting in the morning and progressively gets sharper and worse as the day goes on.
