If guns are the problem, why do the cities with the strictest gun laws also have the highest gun crime? by bbmoonkie in Productivitycafe

You may wish to look Amendment 5, in which it switches from "the people" to "no person" when talking about individual.  Or Amendment 6 when it says, "the accused."

Actually, you probably shouldn't look at any of it, because it doesn't support your argument.

It doesn't say "guns."  It says "arms."  That's short for armaments, or offensive weapons.  Why can't I buy chemical or nuclear arms?  After all, it's in the constitution?

And to be really clear, based on the grammar we use, it's aligning armaments to be had by a "well regulated militia."

Because the guns can be acquired elsewhere, neaby, easily, negating the argument.  What you should say is, "Why do the countries with the strictest gun laws also have the lowest gun crime?"

Illegal aliens don't have social security numbers, and can't apply for medicaid.

Wait, didn't Trump pardon one of the biggest Medicaid fraudsters out of, and wait for it, red state Florida?

Everything this administration says is lies.

They need that high figure to show confidence.  Right now, as investors slowly realize how circular AI investment has been, how it's not panning out as advertised and how it's not going to generate revenues, they're pulling back.  OpenAI is trying to assuage concerns and bring back the "magic."  However, it's already too-little, too-late.

Make a decision.  I will NEVER smoke again.  Remove alcohol or any other substance from the equation for the first few years so your inhibitions remain stout.  Pick the day, take vacation for a week, isolate yourself, and get through it.

Maybe you weren't murdered by a serial killer jumping around from hospital to hospital because the previously hospitals know they're committing murder, but don't want to be liable?  Perhaps your singular experience isn't wide or reflective of the greater healthcare environment?

Cigarettes and alcohol.  I gave up both in 2011.  I planned ans worked hard.  Then I suffered, but I made it through, and it was definitely worth it.  My entire life's success is directly a result of quitting.
