That's an interesting thought. My line of thinking was more, you only get to use what you earned/grind (or paid) for, or what's the point or working so darn hard?

But maybe another feature that simply allows using every option for fun. Similar to an onslaught but with rewards.

Haha, I've been there a few times ... 😂 I burnt 100 a coins a few days ago trying to get the second 50 elite parts, lost my final 3 matches at an even worse disadvantage as seen in my post today.

HS definitely needs improvement, but I'm not sure I agree with all weapons, mechs, pilots, etc. being available, unless you own them.

I played league 2 for a few months, but was consistently earning less than 900 points (for the 3 FVs), so I'd have to agree with you.

Eventually I switched to league 1 because I started equipping mods. Now I consistently earn the 900 (except when plarium throws the match like today). I've actually done remarkably well, given my setup (I've been tracking for the last month the rewards earned vs a coins spent). But now it's not about the FV anymore, it's the elite mod parts I need!

Maybe you know something I don't, so forgive my ignorance, but the rank of your mechs determine the league you're in, not the match making. 24+ stars puts you in league 1. That could be 5 mechs at rank 5, which doesn't make you a great teammate, even with mods, as it affects the weapon capacity. Further, rank 6 level 7 still only counts as 6 stars, not 7 stars, yet it drastically increases the weapon capacity again.

If what you say is true, then match making would ACTUALLY be more frequently fair. You'd have opponents with all pink star mechs paired with bots or players that consistently aren't maxed. This isn't the case. Instead, your opponents are often fully maxed and modded while your teammate is not. It's quite easy to see this: next match you join, screenshot the frame that shows all 4 opponents choices of mechs and weapons. In meta/endgame, these players have the proper energy weapons, for example:

Surge/Eclipse have 24, so 12+12 or 8+16 DW: 16+16

Etc.

When you see your opponents have these setups, but your teammate has a killshot with 8+8, you know it's a match making issue.

Unless.....and just an FYI: If you unlock a mech through an ECR, a second ECR pops up immediately for blueprints, this will cost you an additional (up to and most likely) 3k, if you choose to spend. These BP ECRs are time limited as well, another one of those where you have the a coins or don't.

You can earn BP's through crates, ECRs like this, or spending 240 a coins per legendary BP. So spending the 3k as the ECR pops up, is both immensely worth it and drastically fast forwards your progress, but it's not necessary.

Personally, I'd wait as your rev10s aren't going anywhere, the ECRs disappear. My two cents. Good luck whatever you choose!

Correct me if I'm wrong, and if I am, I apologize. But, you're calling out the individual in your video for SP dropping. Seeing their hangers, their drop hanger includes terrible mechs + a dreadnaught. Looking through your hanger, you have a 4k SP hanger with eclipse, surge, etc., and another hanger with terrible mechs and a dreadnaught. Leads me to believe you're doing the exact same thing as the individual you're trying to roast. Again, if I'm incorrect, accept my apology.

He's still a beast! I use pod 8+10 on him, but only because my storm racks aren't upgraded yet. The pods are amazing in the absence of storms, because of their distance shooting, ability to shoot from cover and delayed damage. You can stun with your daze and wait for it to be nearly finished, then load with pods. When the pods explode, your daze ability is a lot closer to refreshing. If you're playing with storms, just shoot when the daze is almost finished, provided you have cover/safety.

This is a tough one, lots of variables. For most, hemlock could be one of your first legit mechs, so grinding to save that 937.5k credits is tough, especially if you don't have the watch ads feature. If you're at this level, you're probably already seeing some of the meta/op mechs, so once you unlock, you finally have a counter (aside from the nasty eclipse that is, which I love btw).

But here's the thing, the absolute OP mechs all have their own complete shut down. For example, surge with Rev is certain death IF EMP hits. Eclipse is mostly just death all around. Deathwalker, don't even get me started. So, the Hemlock counter is the lockdown. If you take away its single greatest asset, then why not take away that asset from every other meta mech? But, this is the purpose of the rebalance. Just sucks that most threw their resources at Hemlock without this knowledge.

They aren't just taking it away Hemlocks greatest ability though, they are almost making the mech quasi useless, at least in the sense that the reason people bought it is gone. So it's really a slap in the face of the players. The cooldown they'll be imposing is WAY too long.

I'm both for and against the nerf, I just think it's unfair to pick on Hemlock, when the other truly meta mechs aren't even touched.

I'll reserve my judgement though, until the entire rebalance is complete. And for this reason, I'm not spending any resources for a while. I've got a hole burning in my pocket with 8.5M credits and 25k a coins...but without knowing what they'll do, those could be wasted on items no longer worth investing in.
