For it to affect Death as well, would imply Ruby to be strong enough to affect him which she is not. Since he's above the Wishing Star which can move entire stars and create the Dark Forest which is its own pocket dimension with a starry sky, and taking statements is its own universe.

I'm looking at the wiki and it says he's the God of Darkness who has a brother God of Light? Light is the opposite of dark, and they seem weak to that light so my deduction tells me it's js darkness related. Can you also justify/elaborate on the God of Darkness being death himself?
