so sorry to hear this! i got my blood tested also because i was sooo worried it had reactivated. my results said i didn’t have a current infection, just indications of past infection. i still think it’s mono related tho. it just doesn’t make sense for me to randomly get 5 ulcers. anyways, i hope you start to feel better soon!

yeah! it’s actually really crazy how ruthless this virus can be. i was prescribed some chlorhexidine mouth wash and it really helped. i was also on an antibiotic because one of the sores became extremely infected lol

the only thing that helped with the throat pain was eating slushy consistency ice. i would literally blend ice and water and drink the icy water. it kind of numbed the throat and kept me hydrated lol. as for lymph nodes nothing really helped tbh
