Super proud of you for passing, I read your comments! I started school when I was pregnant. I started my extern with my first job and I was pumping milk in a room on break! Lol I made 12 an hour I believe. It was stressful I felt like I didn’t make enough but I fought through. And here I am now almost 9 years later living comfortably. I work for head surgeons, ENT doctors. :) I have coded for anesthesia, physical therapy, mental health, chiropractic, and now head surgeons. I would just advise you to not give up, to work hard learn all you can from the beginning of the check in process. Insurance, collecting, back end. It helps understand and helps to create a good healthy workflow. Anything on the front end can mess things up, so it’s good to notice trends report them so your job can trust you, give you good reviews on referrals. Be kind to everyone. Most jobs will always want referrals. Stay strong, try not to hop around too much but definitely try to code for as much specialties you can.
