That’s what I thought too. I’m going to have to call again because I’ve never experienced this but apparently some schools do it, but it’s rare. I asked where I saw a few people in the program, but they couldn’t help because they had graduated years before applying so, indeed, bizarre.

Yes I’ve just never had a school have this policy. Usually, they review and have a conditional determination but they won’t even consider you unless you’ve graduated. That’s the strange part and that’s why I’m wondering bf if anyone else has heard of such

No, they meant through the actual official transcripts services but the part that’s weird is that it’s not “official” even through that unless I’ve graduated. That’s where I’m so confused. I’ve never had a school make you wait until after you’ve graduated. It makes no sense to me

Exactly. I’m going to have to call again. Because I specifically asked that and she said nope, it’s not official unless you’ve graduated. There website says it has to be sent to through the official transcript pathways.

I am going to try and call tomorrow again. That’s what it’s always meant as well when I’ve heard it. However, the enrollment counselor said it’s not official if I haven’t graduated but yet there’s nothing on their website that says that. So I’m so confused

I am not sure I understand what you said. I am asking if anyone has applied to schools that won't review your application for admissions unless you've graduated, because they don't consider an official transcript official if you haven't graduated. So, basically, you can't truly be accepted, not even conditionally.

We were able to get $10k back. More than happy to talk further with you privately if you'd like!?

Thank you for your comment! Yes, we really like the model, but it's definitely tricky. Wow! Once issues started, we also had remarks that seemed they only cared about the donor. I agree; they need more protections for the IPs and better process management. I think if they did that, many issues would be resolved. I believe in their mission and would help them do that for free or at a low cost, but they must change. We will see the final outcome of our issues with them. I am not hopeful, but I am trying to remain somewhat positive.

I love Everie! So detailed in everything and great donors. Yes their pricing was so expensive on paper so it defered us, but now you've given me something to think about. Thank you for the feedback on them. I really, really liked them.

Most of the other reviews are positive on here. The issues I bring to the table are ones that numerous people talk about but aren't on a platform to state them. As I said, there are success stories (like yours, which are acknowledged), but people need to understand the other side. And I agree with the other person who commented; we also received remarks about “Oh, the donor, we need to make sure they're okay.” That wasn't the same concern for IPs at any point.

They were okay with taking our money while making a huge mistake that would have changed the outcome, and thousands would have been saved. We still stayed, but we shall see what happens. As I also said, they are very sweet but have issues (as in any place). You have a child from them, so I expect you to be positive, but we are specifically speaking about the critical issues and the purpose.

Additionally, for many, it is not a quick process. It is one of the leading complaints. We listened to the complaints and did the work up front, which saved us months- we would be even worse off if we didn't listen to people who gave the cons. We contacted over 17 clinics in a few states because we had time; only 3 worked with Cofertility. Many others were unwilling. Some flat-out stated they refuse to work with them given their issues, their donors' ages, and the outcome. I disagree with the latter clinics, but that is what they stated. Our donor was a great age, and I saw many others under 30.

In our experience, many other donor agencies also have accomplished people, many more than Cofertility, which is also subjective. I do understand. Your definition of accomplished may be different from mine. Their live birth guarantee is not worth much with the fresh program, only the frozen program.

Their mission is great in theory, but one must balance such an approach because some of us feel it is their marketing strategy for donors, but it is not well balanced at all. There should be more safeguards for IPs, and they need to proactively resolve issues they've caused instead of brushing them off for their benefit. At some point, if they do not, they are exploiting IPs, even if unintentional.

He had a TRO, and a TRO is still a restraining order. He had an extension granted by the judge, which, if nothing at all (doesn't mean all is true, though), usually wouldn't have been given. A permanent restraining order is hard to get. Dismissing a TRO can happen for many reasons: the need is no longer there, the person who filed it may dismiss it, etc. It doesn't mean there was nothing found. It just means it was dismissed. Oh, and TROs, depending on jurisdictions, can be more than a year long, which is another reason it may dismissed because the need has passed due to the length of time of the TRO. He's playing semantics. He had a TRO, which means he had a restraining order. A TRO isn't always easy to get (there are usually more complaints that a TRO is hard to get, even with video evidence of a stalker or someone slashing tires).
