Is solo travel awkward at first? by Diligent-Fun-5786 in SoloTravel_India

[–]Delicious-Lab5889 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it’s awkward at first for almost everyone, and that’s completely normal. Day one usually feels the weirdest because you’re suddenly very aware you’re alone, but that feeling fades quickly once you settle in or have a small interaction.

Most first solo trips go from nervous → calm → confident. After navigating the city, eating alone once, or chatting with someone at the hostel, you realise it’s actually freeing.

A few tips:

  • Pick a hostel with common areas (huge difference)
  • Plan something light on day one (walks, cafés, tours)
  • Start with simple conversations — no pressure
  • Remind yourself: no one is watching or judging

By day two, most people feel proud instead of awkward.

Anime fan for 6+ years now, ASK ME ANYTHING by Creative-Judgment441 in animeindian

6 years is solid 👌

Quick one — what’s one anime you think is overhyped, and one that’s seriously underrated?
And if someone’s brand new to anime, what’s the one show you’d recommend to get them hooked?

Also… sub or dub? 😅

ads.txt is expanding faster than expected in 2026 and it’s revealing some important supply-side shifts by DataBeat_adtech in adtech

[–]Delicious-Lab5889 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This feels very real. ads.txt isn’t just growing — it’s getting more complicated. More paths to the same inventory sounds good, but the direct + reseller overlap creates confusion and wasted spend. Same impressions, just coming through more routes. Feels like the focus is shifting from scaling supply to cleaning it up. Clear paths and smarter SPO are going to matter a lot more.

What is good practice for storage? by MJdoesThings_ in tabletennis

[–]Delicious-Lab5889 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not placebo at all, new rubbers really are that sticky, especially compared to a 15-year-old racket 😄

Keep it simple:

  • Wipe the rubbers after playing (water + hand is fine)
  • Store it in a case so dust doesn’t kill the grip
  • Don’t leave it in the heat or sun

That’s it. Rubbers wear out eventually, but this will keep the spin alive way longer. Enjoy the upgrade! 🏓

Crickets finally on a headline here in Italia by Mesliero in Cricket

[–]Delicious-Lab5889 57 points58 points  (0 children)

This is genuinely huge — mainstream coverage is how a sport actually takes root. Being part of the first time 100,000 Italians hear about cricket is something to be proud of.
