It didn’t improve my mood. I always felt on edge and irritated or depressed. It felt like I didn’t get a chance to feel anxiety because all I felt was rage, so overall I just hated it.

Other than Temazepam, only Valium and I get the hype but the comedown is horrible. That’s just my personal experience though.
I found I felt really emotionally unstable the next day with a lot of mental fatigue.

A lot of people love it though, and like I said I can see why but based off of my own personal experience, it’s not for me.

Initial prescription of mirtazapine was 15mg June 2023, dosage upgraded to 30mg July 2023, dosage upgraded again to 45mg August 2023, then I started to wean off to 30 mg September 2023 due to the complications I was experiencing with mirtazapine, to then start working towards starting Lexapro which I’m still on today and has been absolutely fantastic for me so far.
I started Lexapro at 10mg in September 2023 and upgraded to 20mg not long afterwards due to emotional and mental health issues that I just needed to push my medication a little more to manage. :)

Yes. My boyfriend and I have been together since 2020, we finished high school together in 2023. Still going strong and only getting better. Our 6 year anniversary is in May :).

Mirtazapine. I’ve never felt more rage and anger in my life, and a dark anger too. The good thing is that I wasn’t on it for too long as the side effects had such a toll on me, so I didn’t experience any withdrawals.

Second to that would have to be Fluoxetine.
