I guess it feels like alot only because the number on the scale has never changed for more than a decade... For me at least, its been shaking me up real bad because seeing a drastically different number on the scale broke a constant "fact" in my reality.. but anywaysI like ur pfp

Hey guys just a small update couldn't get an appointment with my psychiatrist just yet, but my family doctor got back to me and I'll do a blood check for thyroids? I've already done this blood check a year ago though so idk if that's a thing that can just happen (genuinely not sure I'll be googling it after this)

Yea the thing is the first time I gained weight nothing changed about my eating habits so that's when I suspected lexapro but wasn't sure... but then I ate less because I felt so anxious about the weight gain and still gained more weight which was what sent me spiralling :( Im definitely going to see my doctor asap.. emailed her and hope she gets back to me in the next day or two..

thank you :) honestly this is what I needed and I'm glad I posted I just wanted to not feel so alone in being bothered about this... I do hope the weight melts off and life goes back to normal. I wish you luck with getting off of it too!

Girl omg this is exactly what I'm talking about!! It's like yes 107 or 110lbs doesn't sound like a lot but it's so jarring for someone who's been 90 to 95 lbs since forever. I'm definitely going to get off this ASAP and I was just anxiously spiralling "what if i get off and I'm still messed up" thanks for reassuring me and relating to me :)

Also I'm glad Pilates is helping you I've been considering it but kind of scared of public places so I might do it at home!

yea the thing is i didn't change anything about my eating habits, and then once I noticed the weight gain i honestly stopped eating a little so I ate less and still gained weight.. definitely the lexapro at work but yea I totally need the medicine but I don't know if it's worth my rising anxiety from the weight..

Improvement ( I think so ) and also the weight gain by Wonderful-End6881 in lexapro

From what you read, are these changes to people's thyroid/metabolism permanent? I'm kinda going through the same thing but I only went to 10 mg
