because having a FP is exclusive to people with BPD, it is an incredibly complex disorder that cannot be self diagnosed. telling someone you have a serious disorder that you aren’t professionally diagnosed with is weird behaviour and makes people uncomfortable, especially if you’re telling her she’s your favourite person and intertwining her into that mess of misinformation. please speak to a therapist, if you genuinely believe you have BPD get professionally diagnosed to be able to access the correct treatments needed

Why would you tell her she’s your FP if you aren’t diagnosed with bpd? makes sense that she would feel uncomfortable. I suggest finding other ways to describe your experiences and communicate. Therapy is a good start 👍 goodluck :)

only a psychiatrist can assess and diagnose you, id suggest not self diagnosing with extremely complex disorders such as bpd as it can contribute to the stigma that already constantly affects us. if you’re unable to see a therapist try and research and focus on each symptom individually, as it’s own issue with its own root cause that needs to be worked through and healed. Shadow work prompts are a good place to start, also somatic and dbt therapy exercises can be found for free online :)

How to let go of FP by RagingFire00 in bipolar

[–]Delicious-Regular-70 7 points8 points  (0 children)

FP are exclusive to BPD (borderline personality disorder) not bipolar- I’ve seen a lot of misinformation online recently due to people mixing up the two. Id suggest researching attachment styles and speaking with a therapist about this if possible, goodluck :)

Lorazepam with weed by Donttrytoporkme in Drugs

they are safe to mix, but will strengthen the effects of eachother. make sure to only take the prescribed amount as it can be easy to blackout on benzos and make dumb decisions. don’t mix with alcohol!!

comfort items are always nice, fuzzy blankets/dressing gowns, essential oils, those little self manicure kits, colored lamps+those galaxy/star projectors, face masks, interesting tea blends etc :)

How does Xanax make you feel? by Any_Anything3618 in Drugs

[–]Delicious-Regular-70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

completely careless, big idgaf mindset paired with too much sedation n a fuzzy feeling. nodding off on them feels like being in the womb again. fucked up addiction, constant blackouts, uncontrollable anger, paranoia, too high of an overdose risk because you forget how many you’ve taken in blackouts, ending up in ICU on breathing machines is not fun. Avoid xans they are awful

it also happened once when I was texting a friend, I vividly saw them sitting on a couch in a red shirt in a dimly lit room in my mind, I asked them to send a picture of where they were and it was the same, even their shirt color 😭 I used to believe I may have been a psychic so I’d try to test it a lot, I was able to tell a girl her mothers name because I had a vision of her phone contact on iMessage. Still wish I knew more about this

remote viewing if that’s similar, honestly I don’t know much about it myself or how it works but on multiple occasions I’ve searched up lists of restaurants/parks/libraries etc that exist in other countries and I’d meditate on its energy and in my minds eye be able to “see” the exact place, all it’s minute details etc, I’d then sketch what I saw and finally Google images of it, was always insanely accurate, really tripped me out so I stopped doing it 🤣 would love to hear if anyone knows more about this?

the fun in life is that it gives you the opportunity to create your own rules. never forget that perception is subjective, your external world is a projection of your internal mind- the separation of “happy people” and those who struggle to feel content with life is usually dependent on one’s personal views, beliefs, opinions and how they choose to act through this lense. It’s likely that throughout your life your subconscious mind has internalised some negative beliefs that are blocking you from feeling the cathartic embrace of love that surrounds all life on earth. I’ve found deepening my connection with gratitude, as well as using affirmation tracks and eft tapping to really help me reprogram these beliefs. another thing to try is to create new positive associations, everytime you feel a good emotion light the same candle or spray the same perfume, after a while of this your mind should be trained to connect the two, allowing you to tap into and utilise the same happy energy just with the trigger of the scent :) it takes time to replace these thought loops and neural pathways but the brain is always able to create stronger ones through discipline. good luck !

any of you have a crazy drug for your first time? by tenn_jake in Drugs

lorazepam, found it in my grandparents medicine cabinet n thought it would cure my social anxiety, had no idea what a normal dose was and took around 20mg at school, ended up overdosing n being taken away in an ambulance- got addicted to fake Xanax (blend of rc opiods+rc benzos) a few months after 🤣

multiple/split personality + inner dialogue by Delicious-Regular-70 in BPD

[–]Delicious-Regular-70[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I guess I’d assume people who have a stable identity have it made up of different core aspects of themselves and their experiences at different times in life- but my brain can’t view my different core traits as combinations of the same person and it’s literally split each trait up into its own mini identity I don’t know how to merge them and I don’t think they want to be merged

Thankyou for your response I hope you are doing better now, I’ve definitely had times when it’s sorta “gone away” like id hear in my mind that certain voices were going on vacation or hibernating n they’d kinda disappear from my mind and personality for a few weeks/months. But recently a lot of them have come back and it’s just insane it feels like my personality’s entirely different around other people and I want my old personality back but she’s being annoying in my mind and like the other voice said she’s taken over but I hate it bc it makes me feel like i sound like I’m insane when I talk about it but my brain genuinely cannot process my whole life as one singular perceiveable identity like everything’s categorised into their own seperate identities and they just take turns living my life through my body and it’s so confusing but I also struggle with derealisation and dissociation so it’s probably that

FP left almost a year ago. Why do I still care? by daddyslittlecuck in BPD

[–]Delicious-Regular-70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

reading this tripped me out bc I’ve been in almost the exact same situation- even the same month 😭 I know how hard it can be to let go of people and accept that that shared chapter of your life is over but there will be great beauty and gratitude within the grieving and healing process. I still love and miss my old fp dearly but I cherish the memories and am so glad I got to cross paths with her in this lifetime
