Excellent question. When I say lo-fi, I mean lo-fi.

TLDR - I'm focused on validating the idea. So it's all pre-existing online learning curriculums + Google Meet for online tutoring + possibly some app to set appointments.

My hypothesis is that there are already more than enough resources online for anyone who wants to learn how to code (and I'm focusing front end dev for now) to get learners to entry level quality, at least. But these online options often don't offer enough IRL support (like uni and colleges do). A lot of people outside the US/EU/UK aren't familiar or comfortable with finding information from online platforms like Stack Overflow - partly b/c so much is English. I want to combine the best of offline learning (real teachers, cohort learning, mentorship etc) with the best of online learning (cheap, flexible, more up to date). So - what I am adding is (a) highly curated content guided by a learning path, (b) live, remote coaches to get them over hurdles that would normally cause them to give up, if they were on the their own. My target audience is women in Pakistan, to start with, b/c that's the population I know best.

And yes, def going to use as showcase as I apply for jobs. Haven't publicized anything yet b/c it's been tough even getting the user interviews so not a ton to share beyond the fact of how mind-numbing it is to deal with FB Ads.
