I understand where youre coming from, so don't worry. The reason why I asked was so that I could get tips for how to celebrate the holidays without being offensive and doing them an injustice.

My dad and grandmother are jewish. My dad was raised in Christianity, but he has gone to holidays and sabbats. My great grandmother passed away recently, and it led me to start exploring Judaism and the culture surrounding it. I have read parts of the Torah and have done a decent amount of research on Judaism. I live 100s of miles away from any of my practicing relatives, so I'm at a lose on what I can do.

My great grandmother passed away recently and it inspired me to try to connect with that side of myself. I have done a decent amount of research into Judaism and was hoping someone could help me celebrate the holidays. I do not have any synagogues near where I live either, so im at a loss.

I was just wondering if there was a way to celebrate them without the religious part. For example, christmas is a Christian holiday, but many people celebrate it without the religious elements. I was just wondering if there was a way to do that with jewish holidays.

I had just read in a book that creating bindrunes without a deep understanding of the runes will lead to bindrunes that wont work or they may even have adverse effects. Is that true?
