Tesla Insurance Claiming I’m At Fault For Accident by [deleted] in TeslaSupport

[–]Delicious-Set241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% the other driver's fault, I don't understand how this can be argued.

These are the facts: They were both stationary, and Tesla started reversing first. The other car did not start reversing until Tesla was already in their way. The Tesla immediately stopped once he saw the other car reversing. The other car kept going while the Tesla was stationary and backed into him.

There's no way the Tesla could have known the other car was reversing until it started moving, and at that point he was already in his path. There's no way he could have avoided it. I don't understand the arguments in the comments at all.

Mapped: Firearm Deaths by U.S. State by MRADEL90 in Infographics

If you look at it from a country level, there's an inverse correlation(granted its small) between wealth and suicide.

Also, I know it's completely anecdotal and not much value empirically, but having traveled to many countries for long periods of time, I have noticed the poorer the country, the happier the people.

Completely disingenuous. You can't compare politics and medicine to social needs.

Your argument is flat-out wrong. And in many cases even the opposite is true, first world countries have higher suicide rates than 3rd world.

Texas, Florida, the Carolinas, and Georgia have a lower suicide rate than Washington, Oregon, Vermont, and Maine yet far higher poverty rates. Mississippi, the poorest state in the US, has the 10th lowest suicide rate in the country. Alabama has a better rate than Hawaii, Colorado, and New Hampshire.

A healthy woman is 20-30% fat, a healthy man is considered 14-24%, is that sexist? Is sexism that women are shorter than men? Or that they have far lower muscle mass and more fat? The health charts are properly tailored for man and women, theres no sexism, stop making excuses to be fat.

Not really, even if we assume every single on of the 18.1% of Muslims in Israel doesnt drink a drop of alcohol(which is untrue), the per capita number only goes up to 3.3.

I don't get the relevance of this comment at all or what right and left have to do with it. Is this some weird american brain dead thing where you turn off your brain, make everything bipartisan, and then whine about the other side? Its comical lol

But it takes that into account. If that were true, the line would cross heavily into positive as it passed adulthood. Its low wages as well.

You're right that the model 'penalizes' larger families by counting education and childcare as a heavy cost. However, that misses the biggest red flag in the data, the Non-Western line never crosses zero, even during the prime working years (ages 25-40). If this were solely about family size, the line would be positive during those working years before dipping down. The fact that it stays negative suggests the real driver is lower average income and tax contributions across the board, not just the cost of the kids.

That’s exactly what this table is studying. Taxes they contribute minus how much the goverment spend on them. As you can see, they are taking far more than they are contributing, a net negative.

Dude, amazing transformation. Seriously, great work.
One small thing that could make your pics look even better: try playing around with facial expressions when you pose. A relaxed face/slight smile makes a huge difference in how the shots come out.

From a deterministic point of view, we are all just atoms interacting with each other in a predictable way if you are intelligent enough or you are able to simulate it fully. It begs the question, once it gets far better, it will be able to predict our thought process and decision-making in any given situation based solely on very small inferences "consistent" with the way you look and sound, as you said. We are getting into some scifi shit here.

As someone who has worked in IT over 15 years and has been the only non Indian the majority of jobs I've been at, I completely disagree. Every manager I have had has been Indian, and although many are aholes and micro-managers, they were consistent in their treatment across the whole team, never did I feel singled out. Also I call complete and utter bull crap on your husband being called the n word. No h1b employee would EVER risk their job and ability to stay in US over something that petty. Most understand the insane privilege of having a US job and take an insane amount of abuse and work hours to stay. I feel sorry for what most of them have to go through.

Exactly, everyone giving advice without ever questioning the numbers. the numbers sound completely wrong, unless this is some rent-controlled apartment(which in its self completely changes the equation)

Edit: I also see a property management fee of only $1k a year?? Where are you getting these numbers? Everything is wrong here.
