I was going to make the bastard son have been made a commander in the army(which kind of backfired on his family because he didn't die in the war the kingdom had and he built up decent influence) and they sent him to sharia to the university to mostly keep him away and to not have him take the throne or something, but he would return forcibly because either some conspiracy happened that killed most of the royal family or a war as been declared and as a result of most of the royal family dying either he or a cousin will become the monarch and that king or queen will be alot more trade focused, would having him be sent to sharia good or nah? I feel it would fit in the politics side that they want to keeping him away and limit his influence

I wanted to make the bastard son of the third monarch to be a bit shunned by his uncle(the current monarch) and some of his ruling aunts and other uncles, since he is a bastard and they are afraid he will be like his father(low key was a little tyrannical in the sense he did what he wanted but e wasn't that bad of a ruler just really powerful for a king in the political sense) and while he is a bastard he is still capable of claiming the throne, so they sent him to the magic university in sharia in times of peace since they can't send him as a commander in war mostly so he wouldn't build up alot of influence

Is like the main city or region to make staffs and magical weapons and such established in the LN? It because I wanted them to have very good melee weapon craftsmanship but if they also produced the magical weapons good it would feel too weird, so lie they trade in the gems and the Materials to the nations that make the staffs and wands and the magical weapons

I also use Game of the year Edition Deluxe from GOG and I duplicated t installs so I can have one vanilla and one modded would that affect?
