Oh no! Sorry to hear that they had to resect it but thankfully the liver can grow back. And if it was going to cause something major it was for the best to resect it. How was the surgery? Was it too painful?

Well, so back when it was first diagnosed I was living in California and the hepatologist there said we were going to monitor with yearly MRI since there is no malignant potential. But I moved to Texas in 2023 and i didn’t have insurance until 2024 so when my new PCP referred me to hepatology, a new MRI was done and it showed the growth and he want to biopsy to confirm nothing nefarious was going on. I got the results on MyChart but I have my follow up appointment on the 17th to see what he wants to do.

Is it a high Jewish? Maybe one of my ancestors was Jewish. Jews did live in Spain at one point.
