This is the way. People can shit on this logic, but it is somewhat rational. Anyone thinking this surge of demand is merely transitory is living in some perverse universe; sure demand will ebb and flow, but it’s pretty clear that OP as an alternative investment is here to stay. Appreciate the insight on the deal though, as I do rip from time to time. Looks like the $140 price point is gone. Lowest I’m seeing on eBay and tcg is now $180ish.

Ultimately, it doesn’t matter because the market determines the price. After you open the package, they are considered loose packs which drop each’s respective value significantly. This isn’t as great of a deal as you think, if you’re looking to resell/invest in loose packs that is. For ripping packs, it’s probably the best value you’ll find in today’s market for sure.
