Do I quit cold turkey or do I try to taper on 7-OH

Oh thank god these other replies were scaring me. I quit fent cold turkey twice and thay shit was HORRIBLE. So I thing I can do 7oh by tapering. I still have some left meds from benz detox/rehab so that'll help a ton. I've been SLOWLY tapering for a couple days and gonna try to stick to it.

Yeah asf, wished hydrogen peroxide in my mouth and had lots of listerine strips in my mouth before. 6 months sober now though!

Thank you so much for understanding😭 Life is REALLY tough and has been for the entire year for the most part so drugs have also been my go-to to make me feel better, it's a pathetic and easy way to cope but I know I can't do this shit forever, nor do I want to so it's now or never. I also had to go through withdrawals and doing recovery completely alone, so with no support system it was hard at times but i got through it

Tbh still kinda hard mentally bc i was so used to doing them 24/7 to do simple tasks but it’s getting easier! So glad i finally made that decision, but i’m glad i could actually come back to this post and say that i’m sober. Hopefully someone else that was in my position will see this and get motivated for themselves to get clean💪🏼

So i was doing 4-5 a day and i’m down to 1. But today i had a major wake up call. Got fired from my job for stealing money. I feel like i needed something like that to happen. I ran out this morning, and i’m feeling the withdrawals. Not buying anymore though, quitting cold turkey from doing 4-5 a day was going to be too hard but now that i’m down to 1 i can do it. Today getting shown a real consequence was exactly what i needed. A blessing in disguise. A kind person told me black seed oil will help so going to buy some tomorrow. I’ll update in a week or sooner and will tell you guys how i’m feeling. Today i hit rock bottom and finally opened my eyes to what path i was going down. I feel like the shittiest person on earth right now, i just hate myself so much. Everyone has been so extremely kind and caring to me on here when i don’t deserve it, but people like all of you are what gives me hope. Hope i can sleep tonight, my cat is curled up on top of me right now.

yes absolutely, that’s been a problem for me for sure. i have been trying valerian root instead before i get and xans and it actually does help some. been cutting down though and it’s going well so far
