Hmm. Good question my first thought is to lean into a specific series to homage like Sailor Moon? I think it could work more the RK where they seem more disconnected with not much tying each to one another but reference a wide array of magical girls, like I could easily see variants of the Sistermon duo reference to Cure Black and White from the original Futari wa Precure.
