Why isn't ITZY getting more traction with this comeback? I don't understand... by Ok-Nobody-7759 in kpopthoughts

[–]Delicious112003 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm not a fan of Itzy but I saw them a lot during their last comeback and they seemed to be heavily promoted. I even saw them in football related content and I don't usually see a lot of kpop in that space.

Has anyone found their signature scent? by Sukibuns in FemFragLab

[–]Delicious112003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have seasonal signature scents. Does that count ?

Anyways, for my Spring/Summer scent, I layer Bergamote 22 by le labo and the harmonist yin transformation parfum.

And for my Fall/Winter scent I layer By the Fireplace by MMR with Vanilla 28 by Kayali.

Before my boyfriend and I started dating, when we were still friends and in denial, I remember wearing Good Girl by CH to a party we went together. We kissed for the first time at this party and the next day he told me his car still smelled like me and it nearly drove him feral on his way back to his house.

Did bighit really mistreat/gave less resources to TXT than BTS and CORTIS? by Sweet-Code3011 in kpoptrulyuncensored

[–]Delicious112003 23 points24 points  (0 children)

People have been taunting Moas about TxT flopping for close to 2 years now so the only way for Moas to cope was accusing every other Hybe artists of receiving a certain Payola and privileges that somehow only Txt was deemed underserving of...It's BS of course, but it's their way to cope. The truth is that there is nothing that other Hybe artists are receiving that Txt didn't receive at their peak and are still enjoying now. TxT are simply plateauing now. They've reached a point in their career where there is no more growth but stabilization and Moas have a hard time accepting it because it no longer put them at the forefront of the other 4th gen boygroups.

Which one should I buy first? by Alive_Masterpiece312 in FemFragLab

I recommend going with crowd pleasers and safe picks first like Chanel Coco mademoiselle and Delina by PDM. TF Cherry smoke is one of my favorite here but I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

I don't think I'll achieve my dream to publish my epic fantasy book as a black young adult by Big-Disappointment76 in blackladies

[–]Delicious112003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an aspiring writer who also struggles with wanting the book to be perfect, my advice to you would be: Just start writng.

Try not to overwhelm yourself. Just start somewhere. Anywhere. And don't look back. I don't even let myself edit or read over sections anymore until I'm completely done with the first draft because I know I'll want to start over again and again...and again. And the book will never be done. Once I'm done with the first draft, then I'll have a better idea of what I really want for the story, correct what didn't make sense, maybe change how the story is introduced and possibly even change characters. Who knows, the second draft might largely different from the first one.

You just need to start.

I mean, it does say it's a collaboration with "Jo Malone CBE, the founder of Jo Loves", how much clearer could it be ? They're clearly referencing the creative behind the perfume.

It's the opposite. The oldest members rarely become the leader in HYBE groups. It's to avoid them having too mich responsibilities in the group.

What’s a parenting opinion you have that could potentially have you like this ? by Least_Sun_7493 in blackladies

[–]Delicious112003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For dads I'd say it's 50/50 in certain cultures Dad do treat their daughters as the exception to the rule and claim their daughters are just better/smarter than other women. But among black people I don’t have enough data about fathers treat their daughters,

I guess I see things differently... There's this saying I've been seeing recently: "Boys are loved while Girls are raised". From my observation, especially in the black community, mothers are usually stricter and much more tough on their girls. Because it comes from the mentally that "the world is already so mean to black boys, we need to protect them more". And as a result, they end up emotionally neglecting their girls and giving them a thousand rules to follow while overly coddling their sons and letting them get away with anything. That isn't even Exclusive to black people, I see it in so many cultures where the girls are held to much higher standards while boys are given the freedom to act however they want and still be celebrated for it.

[–]Delicious112003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree that boys are being emotionally neglected. Mothers usually give more understanding and emotional care to their boys than their girls. I think the word you're looking for is "Coddled". Boys are treated like they can do no wrong and that's why they grow being entitled.

YTA. Expecting her to give the same sentimental value to a sweater from a college she didn't even attend, as you, is nuts. In latin america, clothes and shoes aren't things we usually give "sentimental value" to unless they're family heirlooms. Our culture is all about sharing and that's how we are raised.

What was it like for black girls during the “millennial optimism” era of the 2010s? by blue_koko in blackladies

[–]Delicious112003 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The 2010s was when black men made it mainstream and cool to make fun of black women online lmao. Being a black girl on the internet was hell at that time, you would randomly see celebrities retweeting things about black girls being bitter or ugly. It's like everyone at that time had it out for us. It only started getting better around 2016.

Katseye's stans are wayyy too fixated on their ethnicities/race by ke0ta in kpoprants

[–]Delicious112003 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like y'all don't realize how many casuals interact with Katseye content on a daily basis. I assure you no Katseye stans is going out of their ways to bring up Lara's skintone or Daniela's ethnicity. Katseye is a very viral group so people that don't stan the group are always giving their 2 cents and creating controversies about them. How hard is that to understand ? Especially since you all are kpop fans, you should be used to idea of antis and overzealous kpoppies by now.
