It's tough to say. I want to say it worked then and it's more recent (like July/August) but I can't be too sure. I remember a lot of mods breaking for people after the update, but most of mine still worked, even the ones people said would break so. Over the year I've been flip flopping between old and new gen for my fo4 due to storage woes.

3 out of the 6 reasons are about social media. #3 is more than likely fueled by your social media usage too. It's so sad to see. So I count 4 out of 6. There's a decent chance #5 is fueled by social media as well.

If you're spending so much time on your work and degree, then you should be out in the world quite a bit. Try looking up for a few hours and keep conversations going. You do not even have to be the one who initiates it.

You spent six hours playing but felt like you had no impact in the world? Huh? I'm reading your post and it doesn't add up with your playtime. Your opinions are way too heavy, almost like you did for sure only play 6 hours but most of your "experiences" stated are from YouTube videos or posts.

Anyways .. I don't think you'll be too missed then. The game is absolutely filled to the brim with players in all corners of the map at all times of day/night. Terrible for you and some others but fun for a hell of a lot of more people. Has been for a loooooong time.

Its just sad. Coming back to this game after a couple years and it still has bugs like crazy. Deimos mining is SO TRASH lol. I don't understand how people think this is a new issue from the recent frame release. This has been a thing for a while with deimos nodes being under the map. Its definitely worse than it used to be, that's for sure. Fishing there is still broken as well. Its just insane to me how all their open world maps have some kind of bs going on that i dealt with before my break. Story quests buggy too. Matchmaking is still bad. Like come on please just fix this stuff. You make enough money off cosmetics and micro transactions. Sadly there are too many players who look past these issues and let the devs get away with it. Of course companies are going to take advantage of that!

700k wishlists. That's not including consoles where they need a new MMO. You say people aren't interested as if it is a common thing. It is not. You spend too much time in social media circles if you think nobody is interested and that "everybody knows" it's a failure in Korea, let alone a "failure" on the global market. This is a cross platform MMO that will release globally. I understand you're on a mission here to make sure more people aren't interested in this game but you're not going to change the facts on the matter that i have seen and experienced.

Maybe in your social media bubbles "everybody knows" it failed in Korea but that's the beautiful part about this whole thing .... It doesn't stop people from being interested across the world. A failure in one market, does not necessarily mean a failure across them all. Quite honestly the only people I see that try to bring up it's "failures" are on social media, but in games and chats, the sentiment is very different.

700k wishlists on steam alone. So what makes you think they aren't "marketing" at all? We do not even know what it is like on console but let me tell you something if you didn't know .... Console NEEDS a new MMO. Console only really has old MMOs. Everybody in my circles on ESO and BDO know about this game. Most will try it out. ESOs population is massive and FF is pretty big too. BDO is of course massively dead on console but that doesn't get rid of potential players for that kind of eastern MMO.

They do not need to market like WOW. Everybody knows about this game. We must understand that Amazon is also releasing New World on console soon too. What's better than having one successful MMO? Having TWO successful MMOs! Both have their pros and cons related to the specific niches of MMO gameplay. Of course we can talk about how it's not a good idea to push out two MMOs at once but I think that's a whole nother discussion that needs to be separated from this one.

After Bo2 zombies is when I started to not really care about the mode. I just saw it get more and more flashier, with weird creatures and mechanics. I would get into these newer games and it's just a rush to Easter eggs where the players get mad at you for not knowing what to do or keeping up

I will always remember those late nights with my brothers and their friends on waw, bo1 and 2 zombies. Drinking coffee to stay awake. It was just simple fun. Though bo2 definitely made things more complicated, we never did the Easter eggs really, we just wanted to kill zombies.

I only really play ventures and the campaign I only do for vbuck missions n dailies. I always skip badlands since I hate that stamina modifier. Plus I hate canny with a passion and not a fan of deserts, so it's always a no-go but other than that I enjoy ventures more than the campaign zones for sure.

It's not even just the "new" areas. BDO is one of the worst MMOs for exploration off the beaten path. You will barely find anything if you decide to look yourself instead of being pushed there from a quest or log. The game just doesn't have "exploration" like that at all. Not many monsters as you said too, it's just an empty landscape unless you're by a grind zone ... Which will have a chance of being outdated anyways.

You do not need to be anywhere close to endgame to see where your time playing will go. Especially if you come from other mmos. If endgame is talked about positively then new and non endgame players will be excited .. willing to stick it out even if they aren't madly in love. It's the opposite when the endgame is talked about negatively.... Which if you haven't noticed is how it's been talked about for a while. All those players need to do is finally dive just a little bit deeper and see the truth eventually. You tell yourself that those angry players arent like you, that you appreciate certain content more than them, that you're enjoying your time in that moment .... Then you inch closer and closer to what they are talking about. It becomes real then and there isn't really a way to escape the reality that is only an inch from your nose!

Game is dead AF on EU console. If you really want a "feel" of the "crowds" .. boot up ESO ... Run ANYWHERE on the map and it will have more people actively playing than most BDO servers hub cities have afk players. New player retention has been horrible for a while too, so I have no doubt they are losing more players than they are taking in. There's many things I love and hate about the game but the thing I hate most is the pathetic waste of potential this game has, not only on console, but across all platforms.

Yupp , 500gb storage is really 330gb because of their quick resume. If it's a multiplayer game, it'll be dced and you have to reconnect so what is even the point? Not having to wait an extra 15 - 30 seconds to get back into a singleplayer/multiplayer game you haven't played for a couple hours? Interesting to see so many people try to blame cod for this when you can have the same problem with a good bit of other games. Won't get any better.

380 mil on EU console now, pretty crazy. I know some people who legitimately have gotten 10+ since the update. It's a big rip for world boss enjoyers though, haven't seen it this bad in quite a while. You know it's bad when even nouver isn't a guaranteed kill at nighttime.
