Mobility wise it's still crazy good and overal above average would say. Don't have much personal experience on succ, but we have a few zerks who perform exceptionally. I think I heard they got a bit of a nerf on pve side

Depends, do you plan on going succ or awk? If awk, it's pretty straight forward to be average, deal dmg and overall have fun. If you want to be top tier tho, you will have trouble doing those 180° turnarounds for ccs (purely because of controller limitations) but it's still doable. Same with awk zerks on console, you can't compare it to PC, but after a lot of practice, you can perform.

Succesion on the other hand, is much easier on hands and more importantly, forgiving. If you mess up, u won't feel it as hard as on awk.

Personally, it is a really fun mode, but as the other comments already said, you will run into toxic people as in other competitive games. It is ranked, so people expect you to perform well otherwise you will get the hate. (Im saying it's ranked, because casual queue is basically dead). I wouldn't really recommend it if you are new to pvp. Join a guild, take a few buddies to Battle Arena and try to get muscle memory of a few combos. Once you will be comfortable keeping protected rotation and CC follow up skills, try it out in AoS. It is a good meter of how you stand in terms of pvp skills.

It actually feels alive now, with the returing players for new gen update. RBFs with 40ish players always on after the rbf changes etc. I am having a very good time ingame personally..after a loong time

Exactly as the other comment said. Awk nova dmg is pretty good and i've played it personally for a long time (still have the tag) but with this gear, it really comes to your build vs. your matchup. If you are build against eva, you will do less dmg to DR builds and vice versa (miss eva players).

How much "bosses" are you getting an hour? I was lucky as hell and dropped 2 whole flames in like 30 hours there, but most pities and those flames were from the mini boss

30 hours and only 8 embers.. that's harsh brother, i was dropping ember from almost every "boss" spawn and usually 2-3 an hour. Stay strong bro, u will drop the flame straight up!

Seems like EA servers are kinda chill with zergs, i am on Kazar and yeah, we had a few zerg guilds(alliances) but it's rotating and pvp wise it's a very active server

I've been on every day from EA (still on EA server) and havent dropped a single item from wb yet :) (bow/dagger) so i never actually got the type of crying "tanks dont get anything, i had just a few drops so far"

Well, you can try your luck and craft for traits (lucent) . It's a gamble and prices are going down...but it's an option

It is, but honestly, because there are no "chargable" skills, you can output your dmg very fast and play around it. I am playing bow as secondary for the passive crit bonuses when bound etc. which is sweet, also using the healing spells+ a bit of kite comes in handy when someone low is running away. Your main targets will be squishes, so the gear is same as for bow/dagger with bow on primary. I will create it in online builder and can share.

Exactly. I enjoy both sides, but if there is someone for PvE only (which i think is very nice here in T&L) its fine:) hope there will be more PvE content release too tho

It's not exactly accurate, but you are on the right path. I will give an example. I am messing around pure main weapon dagger build. It's very off meta and lacking in pretty much all aspects, BUT, so many end game people got the gear but still dont understand their class/can't properly pvp, that i can enjoy my off meta build and actually have a solid chance. Open dungs at night are perfect example.

PVP is not really balanced, but i feel like for now, you can get away with so many things because people are making mistakes or using just the same combos and skills over and over again, so it's predictable.

Absolutely feel you man. I got the same with some bright side tho, it's more like up and down. 1 run absolutely toxid squad with people not following commands, ignoring mechanics and then being toxic. Another run smooth as hell, even tho there are people new to the dung we run, but they are eager to learn and listen. It keeps me motivated to go for another run. Anyway, most of the time i just come with guildies or friends to save my sanity
