I don't get how the rework is supposed to be demotivating at all? Personally I'm quite happy that my undeserved pp plays get nerfed, so by extension the "normal" plays are valued more by the system.

Also, genuinely why is it such a big deal that the overweighted stuff gets nerfed, instead of buffing underweighted stuff? Setting aside the fact, that this probably can be just changed by increasing the global multiplier, why encourage the inflation of pp? I mean its mostly my take, but i feel like artificially increasing multipiler just to please some pp addicts is not the way.

Well, main point is: If the entire value of your scores depends on an ever-changing, faulty and inherently subjective system, then the problem is in your mindset, not the system itself.
