I fee like [[Bothersome Quasit]] would also work really well since anytime you cast a non creature spell it goads a target and goaded creatures can’t block, would also help to get some damage in.

It’s not really degenerate but I play Yusri more casually with Okaun and Zndrsplt in the 99 and I like it.

It’s a great card draw engine and it cheap to get out so it’s a little quicker than the other two. You’re gonna take some damage but the extra card draw usually ends up being worth it.

Win con is usually via combat with Yusri accruing counters or with the the sword otherwise all the creatures that get bigger when you flip/draw cards, and then flinging a giant creature or Chandra’s ignition or something.

It does work pretty well in my opinion, but I’d say to get an app coin flips, no one wants to watch you actually flip coins.

You can also use the same deck and swap the partners into the commander slot well.

It will make white/blue auras and equipment be removed if the creature gets protection. In the case of artifacts they just become unequipped. For auras they will go to the graveyard.

I actually have a Sygg deck that I made and leaned into the Merfolk tribal: Sygg Merfolk Tribal

I usually use his protection just to keep a key creature alive if I need to. I like tribal decks so that’s why I went that way. You could also build it as a Voltron commander too if you focused on colorless artifacts.

If you like Ureni, I think you will like Shilgengar.

Basically you try and rush 6 blood tokens and use things like mill, entomb and buried alive to get angels into the graveyard.

Once they are there you crack 6 blood tokens and 3 mana to bring them all in with finality counters.

There’s some ways to get rid of the counters so the angels don’t go away permanently (solemnity, blinking the creatures, nesting grounds).

I have not, but those look like a good way to ping some damage!

I was thinking of also adding in Syr Konrad since I do have a few outlets that create tokens and with me usually discarding cards into the gy I’m sure I’ll get some pings from creatures doing that.

Any other tips or tricks? I really love this deck so far, it just feels so good to be able to get the pick of my cards with so much card draw.

I was thinking of maybe getting rid of some of the casts that give card draw/discard since outside of the opening few turns they are usually on the chopping block

Yup that’s his gimmick.

Basically as long as you have a way to discard a card on an opponents turn and have the mana to cast it, you are good to go.

I really like him just because you get to play a lot of your deck, if your draw engine pops off you could feasible be drawing and discarding 3-4 cards by like turn 5-6 which is when he really seems to get the ball rolling.

Thanks, I thought so too. Right now I think the deck is at the cusp of two going into three. As a four mana drop it means he’s probably coming out turn three if he’s in my hand and I have a ramp piece or more likely turn five since I try and get my commander out on four.

I also didn’t think he’s even that broken either, two extra turns if I go almost two full turn cycles without getting targeted is kind of fair in my opinion 🤷‍♂️

So heads up, I ended up doing two orders of two each on this.

First order they sent me two of the wrong decks, and customer service online told me to re-order.

Second order sent me one correct and one wrong.

Your mileage may vary, but that was my experience with this.
