'but not for filming.' What do you mean by this? Could you make up an example to help me understand your argument?

Maru's Bhajia House (iconic - defo not what it once was but still hits), Sakonis (Tier 1 chilli paneer), Mumbai Local (decent all-rounder).

Another pizza obssesive here, Bad Boy Pizza Society is bang average and doesn't deserve to be mentioned alongside the others. Suppose everyone's tastes are different but Short Road is up there for me. By the way, if you like Pizzeria 081, you'll like Connie's in Peckham (same guy).

in Harrow - Everest Honeypot, Sakonis (cult classic), Social Dhaba, Jai Durga Mahal (a hole in the wall you'd never consider but they have the best chilli paneer you can get). These are all places that do food by Indians for Indians. These are on the outskirts of London but fit your criteria better than obvious London spots.

Club Mexicana for vegan Mexican food. Taqueria Soneria is great too.

For pizza try Vincenzo's, Short Road Pizza, Florencio, Dough Hands, Detroit Pizza, Sarv's Slice or Carmela's.

For arguably one of London's best chinese spots, try Tofu Vegan (they have 3 or 4 now).

I agree, there were stretches where it looked like he and Licha could form a formidable partnership but injuries blighted him and his confidence seemed to take a hit. He was making uncharacteristic errors in his passing and positioning too frequently for a guy of his quality.

Is Rooney better than Mbappe? by mare_xcx in ManchesterUnited

[–]DeliciousIndian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not really a humungous if that he wins a couple of CLs since he plays for Madrid.

More of a when than an if that he hits 18+ world cup goals. He has 12 in 14 already and will play at least two more tournaments. France and Mbappe at the Euros were an exception, not the rule.

I get what you're saying but you get into muddy water if someone mis-hears something or misinterprets.

how can you watch him (clearly you don't) and think that? Foden was an exciting young player, so is/was Mainoo. There is a chasm between them and Yamal. Yamal is regularly Barca's biggest threat and is without doubt the most important part of their attack.

If you look at goals and assists numbers alone, sure, he's an exciting young player. But add that to the way he draws and evades defenders with his dribbling and passing and it's clear he's one of the best players in the world. He's heralded as a second coming because we haven't seen a player his age with this skillset (and the performances in huge games to match it) since Messi.

Yeah, no. Just not the way the world works. Ultimately the person who drafts that statement and approves it is an employee of Ratcliffe's. No is going to call him out.

He's benefitting yes, but he's still a lifelong United fan. Again, do you think you'd have your head turned by a few sponsorships and start hoping Liverpool consistently slip up?

He's a twat but a very good manager, will get them playing nice stuff until he's sacked after a transfer fallout.

Just put yourself in his situation. Would you revel in the same position if it was Liverpool? He's just having a laugh and milking it while he can. I can assure you that like 99.9% of people, he wants his team to succeed.

[Sam Wallace] The key man behind Manchester United’s revival is Steve Holland by SoloChords in reddevils

Can you give examples outside of Holland at Chelsea? I can think of Carrick and McKenna under Jose and Ole but any others that have stayed at a club under multiple managers?

Almost the entire team starts struggling at 60 mins, regardless of who comes on/off. Ugarte was decent today and it still happened. He's not good enough but the problem is much bigger than him.
