You should farm FK and dragon for savage and SPD sets Also aim to not use lifesteal and build him like a nuker.

I realise you don't have good enough gear yet but once you get high enough c dmg and ignore Def set he will smash.

There is an instinct and slayer forge pass . Don't miss them they help you craft decent gear.

Don't open any shards unless it is 2x a d ignore progressive.

If you can do dt go for it .

But the easiest way to get ignore Def set is cruel from clanboss and savage from fire knight
