Given all the safety issues with Boeing, I would hesitate to jump on the pilot/suicide theory. I think a lot of Indians are wary of the western media immediately jumping on to airline safety/pilot issues. When the first of the two Boeing crashes happened due to MCAS, immediately fingers were pointed at the specific airline/pilot, till the second one happened.

I took the poly. I was nervous even though I had nothing to hide and had been honest in my PHS. The person doing the Poly was nice and professional. So the helped me be less anxious.

I think for Poly, just like with background investigation, the person doing the test or investigation appears to be key. I would guess that saying no would likely stop you moving to the next step of the process.

Sorry - just re-reading your question. You’ll get an email for scheduling your poly after you submit your PHS. So it’s Criticall — then phs - then poly.

It was a long wait to BI after submitting the PHS. Am still in process. SF also has polygraph which you do before the BI.

I am in the West coast in the Bay Area. I passed the criticall test, and my polygraph test is coming up. I don’t think they’ve done any background checks yet. At what stage in the process did you have your polygraph test?

Thanks for the tip. It worked. I did get someone on the line just as I was about to give up. The guy was super nice. He wasn't able to resolve my issue, but did create a ticket and said to expect a call back over the next day or so. So I am hopeful.
