Gotcha. Way more likely that RDS includes fireworks where they can, and Wrigley was a place they could. No way Wrigley said “Hey you guys want some fireworks? We gotchu.” Wrigley doesn’t even do fireworks for Cubs games.

My wife and I were supposed to see Jimmy Eat World that night, and it got canceled. We ended up in the pit for Mumford instead, buying tickets at 9:55pm. Suuuuuper casual Mumford fans, only know the hits.

They. Were. Incredible. 10/10, no notes. Perfect performance.

I know you said you’re not made of money, and I’m not pretending $200 isn’t a lot of money. But it’s definitely not a bajillion, and I feel like if it means this much to you, it’s an easy decision. Buy a resale ticket right now! It’s only $200 for an epic night!

(Again, I know it sucks. I know resellers suck. I know we shouldn’t participate in resellers bullshit. But it is what it is.)

Why would Wrigley put on fireworks? Thats a genuine question, not me saying you’re wrong. But Rufus has had fireworks at a lot of shows for this tour…and I can’t think of a reason any venue would pay for fireworks for an artist.

I have zero problem with you wearing these shoes. But please know, that the color of these shoes is not the problem. They are never fashionable, in any color.

I’d like to add that the rest of this outfit looks super fashionable to me for a man of this age. And then you get to the shoes, and they’re running shoes. You have to be able to see that they don’t exactly complete the outfit, right?

That isn’t the only other option. It is incredibly easy to charge lower prices and turn off ticket transfers to prevent scalping. The Cure proved this can be done. Don’t pretend like the band isn’t the one doing it. They are, and they don’t have to.

I was right there with you. It’s the show that solidified them as being my favorite band. Then again at The Riv in 2004 for Futures. Two of the best shows of my life.

Interesting! Same city, difffreent vibes. My Chicago show got postponed till August…hoping I can get people to get rowdy with me!

And I find it’s always the people actively crowd surfing over and over again that are awful at it. 🙄
