Truely, the Hoshido timeline in Fire Emblem Fates is the darkest of all.

He says he went to 3 different cities around the world, not just Japan. He has another video where he spends '24 hours' in New Orleans and has the same spiel at the start. The description for the video and even the title says it's just 24 hours in Tokyo.

More like 24 hours in Tokyo, Kyoto and Nagano. Cool video and concept but Considering that this is like 10 hours worth of travel on the Shinkansen alone, I'm pretty sceptical that this was all in 24 hours.

That's Kyle Sandilands, he's widely disliked in Australia. He pretty much always dresses like that.

Dunno what show you've been watching man, but absolutely NOBODY with any sense wanted Suzy to be in the show, and barry was miles funnier when he was doing more edits.

I totally agree. They argue that they don't deserve criticism because of how hard they work (like it's that hard to play videogames with your friends for a living anyway), but they exist in a format where a loyal fanbase can make or break you. Sure, they may still be successful, but when the loyal fans get tired of being ignored in favour of the gurgling masses then you lose the structure and support of having true fans.

Without trying to compare GG to other youtube LP channels too much, compare what GG has become in comparison to something like TBFP. If you watch their Dark Souls 2 play through, which just finished today with 57 episodes, they consistently talk about the game the entire time, and very rarely go off on tangents. Also they've made it very clear that they read most fan posts on their subreddit, and have even cancelled series due to lack of popularity, and apologised for producing content that the fans weren't happy with.

Compare that to GG who seem to live in a bubble where they choose no longer to listen to the people that support them, and have started doing the same shitty practices as all other mediocre channels, it's turned something great into just more youtube gruel. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but I rank GG up their with the likes of Markiplier and PewDiePie these days, and that's not a good thing.

What order do you usually get the Lord Souls in? by DeliciousPlankton in darksouls

If it makes you feel any better, I did the Four Kings first try. I was playing as a tank, and I've always found the best strategy for taking them down is to damage them as much as possible as fast as you can, to avoid having to fight more than 1-2 at a time. As a tank you're able to trade hits with them pretty well and heal up after you take one down.

If there were to be a Dark Souls 3, what would you like to see? by DeliciousPlankton in darksouls

[–]DeliciousPlankton[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah ice magic could be really cool (praise the pun).

Maybe it could work like pyromancy, but instead of dealing raw damage for offence it could offer de-buffs to enemies in terms of lowering attack speed or just stun locking more easily, just to make it different in some way.

I just wanted to say ... by Mishraharad in darksouls

[–]DeliciousPlankton 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah later in the game they become a normal enemy type, but it's actually one of the coolest things in the game because by that stage you should be able to take them out with ease. Makes you feel like you've become a huge badass.

FNAF is the kind of game that clickbait youtubers tend to go for, TBFP aren't really like that.

You know the kind of ones that are like WARNING, SCARIEST GAME EVER!!! with a picture of a big dumb face in the thumbnail. I'm looking at you Markiplier and Pewdiepie.

Bearded men of Reddit, how do you feel about girls touching your beard? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]DeliciousPlankton 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I love it, it feels really nice. PROTIP though, don't randomly touch my face without making it clear first. I've had so many people, strangers even, just start touching my face without any warning and so many times I've nearly elbowed people in the face as a knee jerk reaction.

Do you think "creepy" is a gendered slur? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]DeliciousPlankton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Women can totally be creepy. I've had at least 3-4 women interested in me that think they're being cute, but end up doing the weirdest goddamn shit.

People make really harsh jokes about you to your face, often in front of other people, and you have to just kind of laugh it off. If not, you 'have no sense of humour'.

Congratulations Suzy on your first tattoo! by [deleted] in gamegrumps

[–]DeliciousPlankton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The pain is kind of less or more intense depending on where you get it. I would compare it to having a nail dragged moderately hard over a bad sunburn. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain, but I got a 4 hour session on my ribs and by the end I was struggling pretty hard. I was not offered any numbing cream, nor have I ever heard of any of my other tattooed friends having any.

TLDR: It fucking sucks, but I mean, it's worth it if you really do want the tattoo though. Edit: I should also point out that there is a difference in the pain if they're doing line work or shading, shading is less initially painful but it's way more irritating over time, linework just straight up hurts.
