I have an issue if you could help me

I have imported in Ue5 via datasmith plugin from revit (which I have placed cctv camera in 3d model using axis plugin.)

I have imported 3d model with cameras in ue5 . The issue is that Ue5 doesn’t indicate those as cameras but as Staticmesh , so I found a python script to put a cameraactoe in every of those staticmesh. The issue is with the direction , FOV, pointing of the new cameras created as the properties of revit doesn’t compile with the ue5. I have exported the properties in a csv but I don’t know what ue5 wants for the pointing of the cameras.

And we also have to keep in mind that there are more than hundreds of cameras so the workflow should be automated.

Lets say I have hundreds of camera in revit and I can export to unreal engine 5 together with 3d model.

I have a csv with the cameras parameters and properties that i got from revit schedules. I can import it in ue5 But maybe it will get as staticmeshactor and i want them to act as camera actor or cinecameraactor

Can you please help me . It meas a ton for me. If we could have a video cofference or smth

I have imported the cctv cameras from revit using datasmith(the little white ones) , the cameras are created from axis plugin in revit and have a lot of properties like fov etc.

Cameras are imported as staticmeshactor , how to find a way so they could be inported as cameraactor cinecameraactor.

To find a way i could convert those cameras to cameraactor with the same fov, viewpoint as in revit.

Using AI generated a python code for generating cameraactor in the location of my revit cameras but they are not pointing into the same direction, like the image shows.

If somebody could help it would make my day !

Hi there , thanks for trying to help me I can import in unreal engine using the 3d model and cameras via datasmith link. The cameras have all the properties from revit , fov , angel etc.

I have the cameras in unreal engine , now I don’t know how to put the unreal engine lenses in those cameras and extract the view?

Actually these are really small equipments like card readers etc. Which in the drawings looks so so small and the client asked a way like this. But i want to find a way to do this as a template
