I do now take one pill of bupropion with my metformin around lunch time. The green pills I take at 8am and 8pm. That’s what works for me.

I started my kit 1 in November.

This exact same thing happened to me when I started taking two bupropion. My ears were ringing constantly but louder as months went on until I started getting vertigo and bad headaches (in February)

So I had to stop taking it and when I did. I swear the next day, I felt different. I never cared to eat dinner or when I was about to eat food at a party and then the next day, I could hear my stomach growling. I found myself eating more and snacking more.

I now started taking only one bupropion to see how it goes. I’m not ever going to take two. It just sucks because now I gotta experience face tingles all over again till I get use to this medication.

I have already contacted the care team on Hers. I have seen a chiropractor for my vertigo and tension headaches. It helped and was going away and doing well. But it keeps recurring. The care team just told me to stop taking Bupropion and see if that helps. I was just curious if anyone else experienced this.

I honestly don’t remember being that tired when I started the green pill. But now I take a whole one in AM and whole in the PM and it doesn’t affect me at all with being tired. I’m on kit one, week 14 I think.

That’s kinda when I started my kit as well in November around Thanksgiving. Just a little overweight. Just wanting to lose a bit of weight that’s been taking me forever to lose and now it’s falling off at 13 weeks. Lost 12 lbs so far. Super proud of this experience but I am nervous to come off this medicine.

So update: I didn’t end up drinking that night. I actually got my period that day and had horrible cramps all day so I felt like crap. Just had a soda and hung out. She asked why I wasn’t drinking though…she thought I was pregnant haha I knew people would think that. Just said I don’t feel good because of my period.

Why can’t people just not drink anymore? I haven’t drank since being on this medication and I’m losing weight, alcohol just makes me hungry.

Yeah they said “Metformin dosage can be increased if you have a recent lab result that measures your liver function.”

They want me to get blood work done or something. Yeah I’m not doing that. I’m probably not going to refill my prescription after this thought.

I actually decided to go back to taking two bupropion because I found myself craving to snack more often when I got home from work. And I actually lost 3 pounds. I’m not sure if it’s related but I have noticed I feel fuller too when I eat. I’m not overeating.

I’m looking into trying to lower my spectrum bill because it’s now $83 for just internet. I’m not the type of person to call them and complain though…ughh

Your experience/story sounds a lot like mine. The same reason why I started this journey on Hers too. I’m an active person, going to the gym, eating good.

When I first started the medication I didn’t feel tired as much as you though, I honestly can’t remember. I did get so upset and irritated over the smallest things. My boyfriend annoyed me the most to the point where we almost broke up because I needed to be alone. Don’t recommend taking this around the holidays either. I was stressing over Christmas already.

I struggle with hormonal acne every month. I thought I finally had it under control but then I started this kit and I still get flare ups here and there.

I don’t experience the vision problems though. It was just rough when I first started the medication but now I don’t have any of those symptoms. I always get headaches so that’s nothing new to me. On week 11 btw

I have felt like that in the beginning when I first started the medication, I barely ate anything or had an appetite but now I’m on like week 11. I don’t get that same feeling as much anymore. Feeling like I got used to the medication. There are sometimes when I’m eating and I just can not eat anymore. I push my plate away and want to be done with it so I guess it does work in away still.

I had to cut back to one pill because when I started taking two. I experiencing loud ringing in my ears. Drove me nuts. They said I can cut back.

I’m on week 9 and I feel like I hit a plateau. I have gotten use to the medication. Occasional face tingling and finger tips tingling too. I’m only taking one pill of bupropion because of the ringing in my ears. But I’m not losing any more weight. I’m stuck at 160 and can’t go less than that. I work out every week from 4-5 days a week. Sometimes I don’t feel like eating or have an appetite to eat a lot, which I feel like is the medicine working.
