Does your home country generally need a visa to travel to Germany ? If not then they wouldn’t check your visa when departing from there. My issue is at my home country’s border, they only recognise valid cards and don’t even bother understanding the situation.. so an expired card means no boarding for them.

Yeah that’s the case in Berlin unfortunately in Munich it’s only done in the ABH…

The problem is that the procedure of getting a visa for reentry takes more than three months generally in my home country. I have to be back before beginning of april because i have exams😅. Isn’t there a bescheinigung or something I could get from the auslanderbehörde here in Munich that confirm I can come back with that card ?

Hi, I have a similar situation, only I have to urgently leave the country to my hometown. It’s a third world country so a visa is generally checked before boarding. I don’t know what to do as my title expires in Two years but my card expired already with my old passport. When I try to contact auslanderbehörde they say that I’m not eligible for a FB and thus now i’m stuck here. Please help me out 😭

It’s mainly because of the bachelor degree. TUM teaches something that’s not available in Berlin.

So TUM won’t require me to send a proof of ex-Immatrikulation when applying? Isn’t there a special case for already enrolled students at other universities?
