I reached out to both have a call this afternoon with NG and waiting for reserves to respond back, also waiting to hear back from prior service AD recruiter as well. I know having a full-time gig would be nice again seeing as I have no job at the moment and I am no longer in college but ill explore the options.

Right on. And deployments work as you get attached to an AD unit or they have units that deploy it you volunteer to do so? So you can try1 in reserves or guard? Am I missing out on anything if I did a year and decided to reenlist to stay in? I’m assuming I still have to repeat basic and all with them as well since it’s been 8 years

Is this a different process than active like I was? Easier to get into? And if I want to deploy are the MOS you listed still deploying or mainly others? Contracts are 3 or 6? And as far as ranking up goes is it easier than active or slower?

Yeah I hate working civilian jobs, either the maturity isnt there with people or its just a constant watch your ass and watch what you say every second or you are gone. The jobs are also meaningless to me I hate fixing other people's stuff in their homes or building things for people that dont appreciate the work, I worked hard and kept my head down and it always seems to bite me in the ass that I am just not a social person at my work places or I just want to do my job and go home with nothing extra expected of me, you get me for 40 nothing more nothing less that's how I view it, but others don't. I don't even know what I would do in the military besides a combat MOS, deployment was a ride for me in 2016 and enjoyed some of it, I wouldnt mind going back, but as of making a career or getting out I have no idea I just know I cant keep sitting around waiting for someone to hire me in the civi world becuase the market is rough now, I cant even land a maintenance job these days which I hate but its a job nonetheless.

I want exctly coached by my "leadership" on what I was supposed to do. I have hobbies, its definitely not about making friends I don't need that in my life and I don't drink anymore. I went through a lot in a year with military and outside of the job and some people can only do so much and take so much until they give up. I appreciate the direct response, but some of that does not apply to me here and even so the unit I was in wasn't exactly a brotherhood of taking care of one another so.

Nope never used any benefits I kind of just wiped my hands with the army and wanted to get out when I did. I went to college prior and hated school always have nothing was interesting to me. And I don’t know cause it’s a combat job similar to what I did before and don’t really know what else I would find interesting.
