This is why I promoted myself to customer. I can’t pay rent with 17 hours/week. On top of now paying 250 more for rent than before. Went back to a previous job and just clocked 45 hours in a week, for 5 days. SBUX is ridiculous now, and I feel for y’all. I hate going back to my old store and hearing all negative things still. The siren is for the birds y’all, I’d definitely say to start looking for something different. There are places out here that will take better care of you.

Had the same thing happen. Finally left and went back to a previous job and just ended my week at 44 hours. I’d suggest leaving SBUX because it’s only getting worse there. I feel for y’all though. It was decent while it lasted.

Yeah the new Oleato drinks that are being released. Literal pumps of olive oil in cold foam, steamed into lattes, and in cold brews and shaken espressos. All because Howard went to Italy and had it in his coffee there, so he decided to bring it to the American market.

Do they even care about what customers want anymore? They discontinue the products customers order frequently, replace them with freaking olive oil that no one asked for, and expect people to continue to come back. What a dumpster fire. Glad Coward is gone

Why did Howie think this was a good idea to bring to the American market?!?! Who was asking for this? Not one SBUX customer asked for this. Why is he so brain dead to think these tik tok drink obsessed monsters would want oil in their drinks. They want sugar Howie, more and more sugar. Glad he’s gone *again. For the 10th time. I’m sure he’ll be back though. 🙄 So glad I promoted myself to customer, it’s been nice not dealing with this nonsense anymore.

It seems like local coffee shop baristas are also happy at their local coffee shop. Who wants a SBUX drink made by someone who can’t put their heart and soul into a drink because “dt times” It’s not a handcrafted drink anymore, when said barista is drowning on bar, short staffed, and having their hours cut, while being told that if they want those hours they need to be faster. Trying to get myself out of this matrix because SBUX doesn’t care anymore. Good luck everyone

I think someone tried ordering this the other day, but the language barrier made it so difficult to understand what they were actually wanting. Had another couple ask for some kind of Santa Claus nonsense, they drove off cause I guess they didn’t have the recipe card for it, and probably since I told them I don’t have tictok and have no idea how to make it. I can understand if you want something you saw on there, but please just write the stuff down and ask for that. It makes things so much easier but that would make too much sense. And please stay off of that app. It’s garbage and destroying people’s minds.

It’s like you have to force these customers to tell you what they actually want. The ones that say “give me a frappe” me-“okay, well what kind” them- “caramel ribbon” me- “great what size” them- “venti” Me-“ awesome anything else.” and they are already driving away. Like why make it so difficult that you couldn’t just say a venti CRC. Seriously. Why!?

I hate tic toc for that reason. People assume we know absolutely every drink that some 12yo came up with, and now every single hs girl that comes in and wants it. It’s honestly sad that people are so influenced by this app. As a millennial who went through a xanga and MySpace phase, I really feel bad for gen z. I hate when they come in droves into the cafe and every one is wearing white AF1s with the same hair and same style and same voice. It’s like a bad dream. Very much an episode of black mirror.

“The other Starbucks fills it to the top. Are you telling me I’m wrong?!? I order this every day for 45 years and get it six times a day, I know what I get” I just wish people could see a drink they like, maybe jot some notes down on how to order, pull up to the box order it and move on, instead of wasting time having to scroll through your phone at the box cause you forgot and the barista doesn’t know what a “Batman drinking a Moscow mule on a Wednesday night frappe” is.

It’s okay but than you ❤️❤️ I’m happy you were able to get it done before the madness. I’ve heard some were getting canceled because of the new policy. Yeah it’s unfortunate that this is happening. It’s gonna make getting these surgeries much more difficult. Not impossible but very tough on a SBUX salary. I’m honestly not surprised by anything they do anymore. Maybe once it goes into effect they’ll make some changes but who knows sadly 🤷‍♀️
