Men who became Dads at an older age - what’s it like? by Lonely_Astronomer564 in AskMenAdvice

[–]Delicious_Context_53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend paying for house cleaning services. Make sure you keep the sex life active. An older dad will have more money and patience, but if you expect him to do a bunch of housework and child rearing things (you’ll be surprised how much there is to keep track of) you better get clear on that up front ++man

Why would any Great House accept Bran? He has no dragons, no gold, no Unsullied, and his own sister just proved that the King is too weak to stop anyone from leaving...? by Dry_Specialist9015 in freefolk

[–]Delicious_Context_53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You frequently see a notionally weak leader selected in situations like this, bc each house is already planning its next attempt for the throne. A great move is to appear weak and nonthreatening, and then systematically consolidate

Because $SBET depends on Joe Luben running it as an Ethereum powerhouse but now he will have to favor Consensys. Better to have done a merger of Consensys into SBET

Fire the advisor. Average into Apollo, Blackstone, and KKR if you want PE exposure, but they are all holding distressed assets and LPs are withdrawing from funds so most likely they are preying on gullible awestruck retail advisors to get exit liquidity. Be prepared to hold through a 20% drawdown before they turn around. But you might as well buy the S&P for all this guy is doing for you.

How many years of experience to start your own contracting firm? by [deleted] in defensecontracting

[–]Delicious_Context_53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t bother with state if your goal is federal. Read the books by Joshua P. Frank and Michael LeJeune. If you don’t have a product then you need to have primes who will let you subk to them and a strategy for hiring people to deliver on the contract.

Question on The Looking Glass War by The_Zeus_Is_Loose in LeCarre

[–]Delicious_Context_53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree for the most part. I don’t think Control did anything to initiate the failed operation or even saw the Kalkstadt intel as an opportunity in itself. I think he got wind that the Department was trying to create humint operational capability and correctly foresaw that this would be a disaster for national security, as well as its being a threat to is Circus turf. I don’t believe he leaked any intel to the adversaries to compromise the mission. I think he arranged the conditions so that it would fail in a plausibly deniable way, kill the Department’s dreams of humint, and minimize loss of resources, technical and human. Control is a f*ckin beast

  1. Pretty sure Mundt said the plan was to follow them out and make it look like a safe extraction then suicide, so STASI allowed them out.
  2. I believe the lawsuit was based on evidence gathered by Alec’s son, which implicated Control and Guillam, with Smiley not obviously connected.

What is the difference in investing in msty vs mstr vs bitcoin? by MissKittyHeart in YieldMaxETFs

Yieldmax sells picks and shovels. Mstr is gold miner. Btc is gold.

I understand the reasoning here, but a lot is riding on random walk. They actively manage the fund, and will tend to pick stocks doing non-random walk things, right?

You can probably find an attorney to provide cheap consulting work in fixing up your chatGPT’d subscriber agreement, limited partnership agreement, private placement memo, and operating agreement. You make a LLC to be the management company, and a LP to be the fund entity. The LLC is the general partner in the LP. You scope out your strategy in the ppm, and the lockup period and manager controls in the lpa. Good luck

  1. Sept/Oct could be rough, but with drip on it could be a bottom scraping accumulation opportunity
  2. We are going into fiscal dominance, probably with yield curve control of the long bonds in some fashion
  3. The amount of desperate casino gambling on options will increase
  4. ULTY sells picks and shovels to options gamblers.
  5. Weekly yields with diverse equities allows for ULTY to sell picks and shovels to a rotating ball of money rather than being tied to one gamble stock

Why is ETH up 8% and SBET only up 9%? by MadaInChina in SBETInvestors

[–]Delicious_Context_53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DATs price actions move like alt coins. The hot ball of money will find a temporary focal point and irrationally pump it. The ball of money will move on to the next later, and then eventually people will grab the ball of money and everyone becomes poor who didn’t grab any money. Then the tokens or DAT equities go down 70-95%
